This is a follow up on my previous post early on a special race the family on my dear late wife Martine used to follows dearly every year, They are gone now , but we try to continue the tradition and either go to Pau or when is nearby or watch on TV the race, Let me tell you about it now that all is set for it next month, Of course, this post will be in my black and white series, no pictures, Therefore, let me make this special post on the fabolous Tour de France 2025, part II !!! The Tour de France is broadcast in 190 countries with 100 channels, 60 live streams, nearly 100 hours of live international broadcasts. All stages broadcast in their entirety. Team Radio for the third consecutive year. 1,800 accredited journalists with 500 different media outlets. 31 million sessions on the Tour de France app. 13.7 million followers on social media in 4 languages. 700 videos viewed on the official LeTour website. 86 million visits. 62 million international visits.

The advertising caravan of 150 vehicles, including 23 hybrids and 19 electrics, and a 10-km procession with 35 minutes of shows per day. The 2025 Tour de France will be from Saturday, July 5 to Sunday, July 27. 100% French territory with 184 riders. 23 teams of 8 riders. 3,338.8 km and 21 stages. 7 flat stages. 6 hilly stages. 6 mountain stages. 2 individual time trials: Stage 5, Caen, and Stage 13, Loudenvieille to Peyragude. 2 rest days: Toulouse and Montpellier. 39 sites or cities. 11 regions and 34 departments crossed. 26 passes or climbs or high-altitude finishes: 8 in the Massif Central, 8 in the Pyrenees, 1 in the Jura, and 9 in the Alps. The highest mountain ride the Col de la Loze, 2,304 meters.

Stage 1 Sunday 5 July start in Lille -Lille 185 km

Stage 4 Tuesday 8 july Amiens to Rouen 173 km

Stage 6 Thursday 10 july Bayeux to Viré 201 km

Stage 7 Friday 11 July Saint Malo, Mur de Bretagne/Guerlédan 194 km

Stage 8 Saturday 12 July Saint Méen le Grand to Laval Espace Mayenne 174 km

Stage 11 Wednesday 16 July Toulouse-Toulouse 154 km

Stage 14 Saturday 19 July Pau to Luchon to Superbagnéres 183 km

Stage 19 Friday 25 July Albertville to La Plagne 130 km

Stage 21 (final) Sunday 27 July Mantes la Ville to Paris Champs Elysées 120 km

The big departure of the 4th edition of the Tour de France 2025 women will be given from Brittany !!!, with a first step in the heart of Morbihan !!! (my dept 56) and the second through Finistère (dept 29). It is a first for a test which chooses to pay tribute to a region where cycling plunges in deep roots! The 2025 edition will also mark a turning point in the history of the Tour de France women, which will be competed for the first time on nine days of racing!

Stage 4 Tuesday July 29 Saumur -Poitiers 130,7 km

Stage 8 Saturday August 2nd Chambéry -Saint François Longchamp-Col de la Madeleine 111,9 km

Stage 9 Sunday August 3rd Praz sur Arly-Châtel 124,1 km

There , my parents born in Cuba met and later on I was born there too. 100% guanche (annexed Tenerife to Spain on April 10 ,1496). I left Cuba as many have to Madrid, Spain where I lived for 4 years. Then, move to Perth Amboy ,New Jersey USA (living there 13 yrs) ; where I completed high school, became a US Citizen, learned to drive a car, and learned English. Afterward, went to the university in Florida, ERAU, and upon graduation decided to moved there to Ormond by the Sea, near Daytona Beach, finally moving North Miami, then Hialeah, then another moved to Silver Lakes division in Miramar, Broward county, Florida; in Florida I lived a total of 18 years. Finally , moved to France in 2003 ,Versailles call me for its royalty, and working in Paris was great. It was time to seek frontiers again and moved to Brech near Auray, Morbihan in Brittany , and later move to not too far Pluvigner. Total so far in France has been 20 years, and counting.
