If you have been reading my blog , you know I like cars, that is whay I am the road warrior !! I have driven in the most densely populated cities of our world and nothing to it, After all, we have an old saying, if you can do it in New York City, you can do it anywhere !! Well I got my driver’s licence just in the metro area of NJ/NYC !! I like to update this older post with some of the cars I have driven over the years base in the USA and France, The car is like my second home !! Therefore, here is my love affair with cars !!! It all started back in Perth Amboy New Jersey when taking the Ford LTD car from my Dad learned to drive ! When finally got my licence my first trip with the car was to Yankee Stadium in NYC . The funny anecdote was that I got to the stadium alright but on the way back took the Garden State Parkway instead of the NJ Turnpike and end up near Philadelphia !!! when finally I asked a State Trooper police to tell me I was near the big city and way over my destination home of  Perth Amboy,  That was the thrill of youth and daredevil driving, that still rings on me.

Too bad back then was not into pictures and did not took the time to have one of the Ford LTD , but I remembered was telling my Dad Elio (RIP) that was like driving a boat lol !! Big and wide !! From that first Ford LTD wagon, it was time for me to go to the University in Daytona Beach, Florida and needed a car, The anecdote here is that had a good friend (sadly passed away from heart attack at age 36) that show me his new purchase a Porsche 944 ! I told the story to my parents and behold ,when they took me to the car dealer it was the Porsche !!! Me bring well raise and humble told them if was too much a burden for them because they will need to pay the monthlies instead just needed a car to get me from A to B, They end up taking me to the Chevrolet car dealer and got me a nice fire red Monte Carlo 1977, This car served me well in my University years and many times on the beach at Daytona ,even took it back initially with me to Perth Amboy, My new friends at the Univ thought I was crazy for refusing to get the Porsche ,my first roommate had a 911 !!! Oh well this is me,The Chevrolet Monte Carlo originally, this model was intended for customers wanting an “affordable luxury car”. From 1973 to 1977, a Monte Carlo with a fairly baroque neo-retro style was produced. It is very popular with fans of NASCAR and is the direct descendant of the first generations of rear-wheel drive Monte Carlo designed from 1969 to 1988. I came back to live in Ormond Beach, and there got me a Fiat 131 1981 rooftop yellow bird mirafiori on gears that was a thrill was leaving me stranded once in a while !!! It was a car that would turn heads of girls on the beach so stuck with it for a while, The first series of the Fiat 131 Mirafiori was presented in September 1974. manufacture at the giant factory in Mirafiori, on the outskirts of Turin. In 1981, Fiat launched the third series of the 131, mine. In 1983, after the arrival of the new Fiat Regata, the 131 sedan was discontinued.

After while still in Ormond Beach I finally got my dream car ,the Ford Mustang 1989 all white fully red inside with a strip outside all around it in blue, you guess right ! When we moved south to Hialeah, to get better prospects of a job for my dear late wife Martine in Miami, we got a used Chevrolet Lumina minivan 1995 as figure the family grew and we were five now and seven with my parents, but it was a messed did not started and left me on the roads several times always in repairs, I change quickly to a brand new Chevrolet Malibu 1997 dark green was moving to Silver Lakes community in Miramar,Broward county, This was a nice hit and good car, Eventually still living there I purchase my last car in the USA, this was a cute Suzuki Vitara jeep style redish 2002.  My Chevrolet and Suzuki car dealer in Pembroke Pines: https://www.autonationchryslerdodgejeeprampembrokepines.com/

And already French since 2000 married to a good Frenchie girl and 3 wonderful boys she asked to live in France, after all arrangements made so we can keep up with the good life and bringing my parents with us, we left for good the USA in 2003, Almost within couple months got me my first car in France, a Ford Focus Break 2004 in Meaux, Seine-et-Marne dept 77, my dear wife native town, And took far and beyond into Spain! Then took a liking for Ford, friendly service, good quality automobiles done in Germany (Cologne, and Sarrelouis) and Spain (Almussafes, Valencia), and good deals with friendly salespersons, still in touch,  So the Ford saga continues today.  Pic below is in old dealer but not the Focus ::) My first Ford car dealer in France has closed in Meaux and now they are nearby diff ownership : https://www.fordalliance.fr/

I went in to the car dealer in Vannes and got me a Ford Kuga, 4×4 2017 black, and then came quickly to try another Ford, the Ford Focus 2019 , and pretty quickly into my retirement change down to a very nice Ford Fiesta Titanium  2019.  Which I currently have and own totally to ease on down in my retirement. Already taking me to Madrid, and all over France !! It will be the car for a while,,,,

The ride on Ford has been great and taking me to Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Italy, Switzerland, England, Spain, and France. The road warrior drives on open highways, freeways, toll roads, and even into big cities like Frankfurt, Trier, Koblenz, and others such as London, Rome, Geneva, Amsterdam, Milan, Bologna, Luxembourg all over, Brussels, Bruges, Anvers, and other smaller towns, Spain all over, and France all over. My family and friends asked me about the traffic in Paris . Well proudly will tell you I had been all over done that and taking the smaller inner streets in Paris and come from outside beltways on the west and along the Seine river.  If you need help getting around there to any place, let me know will gladly gets you out of the huge traffic jams going on still in my eternal Paris, but worth a drive ! I need to tell you as well here in my beautiful Morbihan , and lovely  Bretagne there are no traffic jams lol five car we get upset lol!!! Enjoy the rides and convenience to go into no man’s land to see the off the beaten path sites. Happy motoring !!!
