Again, back in my road warrior days and coming to visit and new and repeated places of my beautiful Morbihan. I came again to a town we have visited and passed by regularly, this is Locminé right off the road N24 but also direct with my town on the D16. We came again to the pretty Chapelle Notre Dame du Plasker of Locminé.
My new visit will cut short the history part as have another post on it in my blog. This time thus, took more and better pictures me think. Therefore, here is my better second look at the Chapelle Notre Dame du Plasker of Locmné!
The Chapelle Notre Dame du Plasker is in the city center of Locminé, a place of prayer would have existed in its location as early as the 11C. The present Chapel dates from the 16C. During the French revolution, the chapel was transformed into a material depot and served for some time as a deciders temple. In 1804, the town brought down the upper part of the bell tower and replaced it with the current stove.

There you go folks, there again is Locminé. This is a nice chapel right in city center and better the second time me think. Hope you enjoy this post on the Chapelle Notre Dame du Plasker as I.
And remember, happy travels, good health, and many cheers to all !!!
