I am just got around the train station area of many wonderful memories for business meetings in Paris for several years, Actually, I used it lots of times in my business travels and glad able to give an update on it. Vannes is our capital city of my beautiful Morbihan dept 56 of my lovely Bretagne and in my belle France, Therefore, here is my new take on the Gare de Vannes, part II !!! Hope you enjoy the post as I.
The train station or gare de Vannes (see post) is a railway station on the line from Savenay to Landerneau, located in the gare or train station neighborhood, on the territory of the city of Vannes. It notably serves the Gulf of Morbihan. You can make by train direct from Paris Montparnasse or even Roissy CDG with less frequency. And even to Marne-la-Vallée Chessy next to Disneyland Paris ! For ticketing and information see SNCF Voyageurs 7 place de la Gare also boutiques Galerie commerciale Carrefour and Boutique SNCF Centre at 5 place du Poids Public in old town. The Vannes train station, I took many times from 2014 to 2018 almost weekly and it is tops, full facilities free parking and services . Vannes is served by the TGV and regional express trains such as TER Bretagne and TER Pays de la Loire. It is served by the TGV inOui and Ouigo from the relationship between Quimper and Paris-Montparnasse via Rennes and Redon. full facilities free parking and services . For parking you have P1 by Avenue Favrel et Lincy , P2 et P3 by rue de Strasbourg (behind the station, my parking), and P4 for the subscribers to the TER trains, In my business travel days the P3 was free now is payable by EFFIA, The official EFFIA parkings : https://www.effia.com/parking/parking-gare-de-vannes-p2-effia

The renovations that have been going on for several years for the Gare de Vannes are now finally over, and the pedestrian and cycle bridge at the multimodal transport hub (PEM) is open to the public. A true emblem of the project, it provides a safe north-south link for pedestrians and cyclists, a more peaceful access to the platforms, and strengthens connections between different modes of transport. Its opening also allows for the completion of parking facilities for vehicles. The bridge was designed to offer a high level of service: 62 meters long and 7 meters above the railway !tracks, a pedestrian and cycle link crossing the railway tracks, direct access to the SNCF platforms, 4 elevators for people with reduced mobility, 150 bicycle parking spaces, spiral cycle ramps integrated into the roundabouts, and a light and airy structure supported by steel diamond-shaped beams without internal columns.

Just across you have the ,also, renovated Gare Routiére or Bus station of the multimodal interchange hub (PEM), It is only 100 meters from the entrance to the SNCF station , It has now 10 main platforms plus 4 reserve, 115 meters long, 50% more capacity, Each day, the station will accommodate 7 BreizhGo bus lines of the Brittany Region, 5 bus lines Kicéo peri-urban lines and school transport of the Vannes agglo or metro area, My family has taken the buses here a lot over the years and its great.
The Golfe du Morbihan Vannes Agglo or metro area comprises 34 towns around Vannes : https://www.golfedumorbihan-vannesagglomeration.bzh/lagglo/territoire/
