My restaurants of Vannes !!!

We come by here always, we eat here , enjoy it here ,ride boats here, and do shopping galore on many items yet I need to tell you more, I have stop by this week again and even if we come many times sometimes need to show it, After all as said, my blog is my life’s history !!! Of course, by now you should know my capital city of Vannes in my beautiful Morbihan dept 56, in my lovely Bretagne,and in my belle France. Therefore, here are some of my restaurants of Vannes !! Hope you enjoy it as I 

I like to start with a bit of an anecdote, the first restaurant we visit in place Gambetta was called the Le CatWay ,and it became a favorite facing the marina in the Le Port area, My first visitor from USA took her here and it was a blast, Later on, the place by some real estate family issues was change management and name to become the Le Gambetta, We came here several times mostly on a quick eating and drinking mode so continue our journey, For a basking in the sun ambiance and good cheers ,next to Porte Saint-Vincent,(see post), it was very popular. The service all day long, but slow beyond regular French time, and the food well the pizzas were not well cook on the edges, For a beer killing time and the great views it was great , Again, time away and the place was completely remodeled , change ownership and a new name the Brasserie Saint Vincent ! Took some time to be back but were this week for a nice cold beer again, and taste the ambiance, We find it too commercial with a hurry up service too bad not a good impression but memories lingered here of better times,

We passed by this place on the Place des Lices (see post) square many times and always pack, This time tables were available and we finally tried it, This is the Délice Café, and we love it ; it will be a must-visit in Vannes for a pleasant stay. We enjoy the mokachino and ice teas of different flavors, Our dog Rex was well received and water was brought to hime without even asking for it ! We did a quick refreshement stop but will definitively be back for more for a total friendly experience. No web

There , my parents born in Cuba met and later on I was born there too. 100% guanche (annexed Tenerife to Spain on April 10 ,1496). I left Cuba as many have to Madrid, Spain where I lived for 4 years. Then, move to Perth Amboy ,New Jersey USA (living there 13 yrs) ; where I completed high school, became a US Citizen, learned to drive a car, and learned English. Afterward, went to the university in Florida, ERAU, and upon graduation decided to moved there to Ormond by the Sea, near Daytona Beach, finally moving North Miami, then Hialeah, then another moved to Silver Lakes division in Miramar, Broward county, Florida; in Florida I lived a total of 18 years. Finally , moved to France in 2003 ,Versailles call me for its royalty, and working in Paris was great. It was time to seek frontiers again and moved to Brech near Auray, Morbihan in Brittany , and later move to not too far Pluvigner. Total so far in France has been 20 years, and counting.
