This is a small town , but what a pack of architecture and especially history it has! I was lucky to lived in it briefly when first came into the Morbihan breton dept 56 from Versailles in the Yvelines dept 78 way back in 2011. And of course, I have written several posts on Brech in my blog. Of course, Brec’h is in my beautiful Morbihan, of my lovely Bretagne and in my belle France, I was by there today and have new pictures to show in my blog, Therefore, let me tell you about the curiosities of Brec’h, part II !!! Hope you enjoy the post as I.
And voilà ! This is not going to be a normal post on curiosities by me, This is something more personal and we buy it every day as all good Frenchmen, the pains or bread is essencial ! We came first to Brec’h if you read my blog,,,We purchase our breads and sweets at the bakery across the street, Then, we purchase our house in Pluvigner, and came to have a larger choice of bakeries, four to be exact, Over time we have settle on the one in City center walking distance from our house, that is Des Saveurs de Pains, Later, this bakery purchase the one in Brec’h and made a much larger bakery shop there, We continue to passed in front and always end up buying our breads in our town, Until today ;needing to have more and passing in front we finally came in, It is of course , a new building, much larger and more choices, we were pleasantly surprise as the server was one of Pluvigner lol !! same account same service, same great breads/sweets.

The bakeries are at 13, Place du Marché, Pluvigner and 20 bis Route de Corn Er Hoët, Brec’h, As others experts have said, they are renowned for its fresh and tasty breads as well as its delicious homemade pastries, this bakery is distinguished by its commitment to quality, freshness and the diversity of its products. From traditional country bread to crisp baguettes, including special flavored breads, their assortment offers a variety of choices to satisfy all tastes. In addition to their quality breads, they offers an enticing range of fresh pastries out of the oven. Golden croissants and breads with melting chocolate, gourmet fruit pies and homemade cakes, each sweet creation is a real treat. The bakery attaches great importance to the use of primary ingredients, favoring local producers and seasonal products.
A bit more on them, tell us that at the back, the store opens onto the oven. smaller only 100 m2, the Pluvigner site also benefits from a view of the bakery ovens from the sales area. Only traditional breads are still manufactured, the production of all specials, also for sale in a network of organic stores, having been repatriated to Brec’h. Conversely, the production of pastries has been centralized in Pluvigner to optimize the space, In Brec’h, pastries share the refrigerated showcase, at the entrance to the store, with the snacking range (salads, sandwiches, soups, pizzas), enriched thanks to the recruitment of a cook. Upon vis-à-vis, glued to the bay window, a small glass counter is reserved for chocolates and events.
The “Best Bakery in France” emission competition broadcast on M6 tv in Morbihan, four bakeries were selected, Our baker Maxime Le Blaye and his collaborators from Pluvigner and Brech ,already ! In Pluvigner, Marina Baudet has just surprised her boss Maxime in apprenticeship at the bakery, she won the 3rd award chocolate pastry junior ! Yes they are pretty good indeed.
