Curiosities of Carnac, part III !!!

I came back to check out one of our favorite hangouts here, Carnac. I have written plenty in my blog, do see my posts, However, again found some pictures not in my blog and they should be, Therefore, here is more of the curiosities of Carnac , part III !!!  Hope you enjoy the post as I. Briefly, the town of Carnac is indeed two. There is Carnac bourg or city center inland ,and there is Carnac plage or beach,along the ocean where the beaches are of course. Both are about 2 km away. Oh yes this is south of me about 30 minutes in my beautiful  Morbihan  dept 56 of my lovely Bretagne and in my belle France! We found easy parking at the place de la Chapelle on the other side from the Pre History museum (see posts) for free, We took a quick tour of the tourist office (see ch St Cornely back and posts) as I think it is always essential no matter how many times you come to a place. There are always changes and we notice. The hours are Monday to Saturday 9h30 to 12h30 and 14h to 18h on Sundays opens from 10h to 13h, check before leaving always! carnac tourist office afar ch st cornely jul11 The Yacht Club invites you to come and sail on the magnificent waters of the Baie de Quiberon. Protected from the winds and the ocean swell, a wide choice of activities awaits you such as sailing course, rental, private lessons, discovery outing, activity for children, coastal license training, kayaking, paddle and rowing, year-round activity. They offer sailing courses, rentals, private lessons and supervised outings. By catamaran, dinghy, windsurfing, kayak, paddle, rowing, traditional sailboat, sportboat or foil, come and sail on recent, suitable and quality equipment. You can also come and take your boat license , Sailing courses, for children and adults, are organized during school holidays (Easter, summer, All Saints), from Monday to Friday on half days. Also discover the restaurant with a breathtaking view of the Saltworks. The Circus Casino of Carnac enjoys a breathtaking view of the ancient salt marshes.
