Curiosities of Dinan, part V !!!

And I take you up north to beautiful Dinan, in the Côtes d’Armor dept 22 of my lovely Bretagne and belle France, again. Ah yes very popular town and famous for the chic and famous nice living good beaches and several nice places to see if reading my blog.   I have written several entries on Dinan, and just found me older pictures not yet in my blog and they should be, Therefore, here is my take on curiosities of Dinan, part V !!! Hope you enjoy the post as I.

The Church of Saint-Malo is from the 15C. It is representative of the flamboyant Gothic in Brittany. The Church dimensions are 76.50 meters long by 44.10 meters wide. It is quite imposing size, has a small steeple 40 meters, which is in fact only a four-pans roof with some small giblets. Originally, the church had to have a granite arrow, of which we can see the bases from each angle of the roof. It should have been consistent, given the size of the four pillars of the transept, each having a diameter of three meters.

Another nice monument is the Château de Dinan which is a composite ensemble, formed at the end of the 16C by the Duke of Mercœur from three elements initially distinct: The Museum of Dinan in the ducal tower which then becomes the Castle Museum. Dedicated to the history and crafts of Dinan and its territory, The Castle Museum of Dinan includes more than 5,000 works and objects listed in the museum’s inventory, covering all historical periods.

Then, move to Perth Amboy ,New Jersey USA (living there 13 yrs) ; where I completed high school, became a US Citizen, learned to drive a car, and learned English. Afterward, went to the university in Florida, ERAU, and upon graduation decided to moved there to Ormond by the Sea, near Daytona Beach, finally moving North Miami, then Hialeah, then another moved to Silver Lakes division in Miramar, Broward county, Florida; in Florida I lived a total of 18 years. Finally , moved to France in 2003 ,Versailles call me for its royalty, and working in Paris was great. It was time to seek frontiers again and moved to Brech near Auray, Morbihan in Brittany , and later move to not too far Pluvigner. Total so far in France has been 20 years, and counting.
