Curiosities of Ploërmel part III !!

And I again, on my road warrior indulgences in my beautiful Morbihan . This time I like to tell you more of the curiosities of Ploërmel, part III !!!  Again, I found me older new pictures to my blog that should be in it, This is Ploërmel sitting nicely in the road N166 Vannes to Rennes by the N24, Hope you enjoy the post as I 

The Café de la Tour, across from the Church Saint Armel, changed owners several times over the last few years, but always the good food, good prices and friendly service we all want. The new owner is well known to the local Ploërmelais, since the man is also a municipal councelor,and sports delegate for the town of Ploërmel. For nostalgia’s sake, this is the apartment where one of my son’s stayed while working in Ploërmel forgot the address just have the picture and my other sons and my dear late wife Martine on it, One of the weekends we were to visit and have trips with all together,

One of the must to see in town is the Musée J M La Mennais at Place la Mennais .The La Mennais museum space presents visitors with some treasures of the congregation through a museum dedicated to Jean-Marie de La Mennais and a natural science museum. The first retraces the life of the  founder and presents his works, his personal effects, and in particular his precious library!  . End the visit with the renovated Chapel which houses the tomb of Jean-Marie de La Mennais. The Museum of Natural Sciences takes the visitor on an enriching object lesson in the form of a journey through time and around the world; collections of insects, bird nests, rocks, fossils, prehistoric tools, etc.

There you go folks, another wonderful road warrior trip and plenty to do and see and eat! All in my beautiful Morbihan, in land for a change of pace from the coastal areas.Ploërmel is nice, vibrant city and gorgeous monuments Again, hope you enjoy the post on the curiosities of Ploërmel ,part III as I.

My background comes all the way from Candelaria and Pajara in Tenerife, Spain where my grandparents came from ;not knowing each other then, to Punta Brava, west of Havana, Cuba. There , my parents born in Cuba met and later on I was born there too. 100% guanche (annexed Tenerife to Spain on April 10 ,1496). I left Cuba as many have to Madrid, Spain where I lived for 4 years. Then, move to Perth Amboy ,New Jersey USA (living there 13 yrs) ; where I completed high school, became a US Citizen, learned to drive a car, and learned English. Afterward, went to the university in Florida, ERAU, and upon graduation decided to moved there to Ormond by the Sea, near Daytona Beach, finally moving North Miami, then Hialeah, then another moved to Silver Lakes division in Miramar, Broward county, Florida; in Florida I lived a total of 18 years. Finally , moved to France in 2003 ,Versailles call me for its royalty, and working in Paris was great. It was time to seek frontiers again and moved to Brech near Auray, Morbihan in Brittany , and later move to not too far Pluvigner. Total so far in France has been 20 years, and counting.
