My shopping at hypermarché Carrefour !!!

I like to take you back to shopping ; i have a few posts, We like to shop and usually go to the farthest from the house to take a road warrior ride,We like a couple of hypermarket chains in France, and lately been concentrating on one for the discount and sales items, Even if written briefly on several posts on them, feel they need a post of their own, Therefore, with new pictures of this week here is my take on the hypermarché Carrefour, especially the one in Vannes Hope you enjoy the post as I.

We go around always had, been close to home does not matter, we go out far from home to do our groceries, I guess is part of the road warrior spirit that I need to be on the road for a while, After trying most or all supermarket chains in France, we have settle for two, The one we go recently, and the reason for the post is the Carrefour chain of supermarkets.

There is one in Vannes just dandy at about 29 km from my house, as said recently we have been every week to it for its specials, We buy everything that is not food well some but not much as prefer to go into the farms around my town for the real thing ! We get paper products house cleaning, hygine, bags, and misc sundries etc This is the  hypermarket Carrefour  at Avenue de la Marne, This shopping center has about 69 stores including places to eat ,what they call the Galerie Commercial Carrefour,With amongst other the favorite Micromania, and Jeff de Bruges chocolates, The resto we like here is Brioche Dorée and La Compagnie brasserie and pizzeria nice quiet good price quality ratio, There is a great underground parking here which is central to even go to outside stores. Also, an above ground parking and roofstop parking !

In the outside stores spread over the above ground parking you have one of dear late wife Martine favorite, Damart , Another one she like and we shopped was the Du Bruit Dans la Cuisine for gourmet goodies and kitchen utensils and tools !  There is even a new Holly’s restaurant burgers chain, not try yet too many of them !.

The wonderful Carrefour hypermarket is right in a shopper’s paradise area as once stepping out there are a plethora of stores around it and on the side streets such as the Darty,FNAC, Armand Thiery, Chaussea, Les Halles , Netto, Intersport , and Besson shoes etc, There is the Italian Trattoria, and Roadside Burgers , as well as a McDonalds and a KFC, and Subway !! The one we like the most is Le Scoop French cuisine and very affortdable !! We love it and the team is very friendly tops.

We have tried some others away such as going towards my dear late wife’s native town of Meaux we stopped going in or out on the N3 or I4 exits in Claye-Souilly and the wonderful shopping center Les Sentiers de Claye-Souilly anchor by a big Carrefour hypermarket  Many of my favorite stores are there too including Armand Thiery ,Micromania, Darty, Orange, Carrefour, and Jeff de Brugges. We went out of our way to shop in Carrefour in our previous home area of the Yvelines, (78) yes even living in Versailles we came to the Carrefour Flins shopping center and the restaurants Centre Commerciale Carrefour Flins !!:webpage : https://www.centre-commercial.fr/carrefour-flins/

When pressed one convenience store we had was the sub chain Carrefour City at 67 Avenue de Saint Cloud, end of Rue de la Paroisse Versailles, You always need a quick trip to the grocery store !! webpage : https://www.carrefour.fr/magasin/city-versailles-saint-cloud-67#infos-pratiques

 Nearer in my new home of the Morbihan (56) I used to take this road to go to my job, and stop here several times, now much less but still useful for the gas station ! This is right off the road D779 in Grand Champ. The reliable Carrefour Market that is even open on Sunday mornings is a good choice. And even afar from France ,when in my consulting job, I spent 3 months in Curitiba , Paranà State of Brazil,(see posts) I had a Chevy Prisma company car and speak the language so went all over, Also, to buy my groceries at the local Carrefour supermarket at Rod. Dep. Afterward, went to the university in Florida, ERAU, and upon graduation decided to moved there to Ormond by the Sea, near Daytona Beach, finally moving North Miami, then Hialeah, then another moved to Silver Lakes division in Miramar, Broward county, Florida; in Florida I lived a total of 18 years. Finally , moved to France in 2003 ,Versailles call me for its royalty, and working in Paris was great. It was time to seek frontiers again and moved to Brech near Auray, Morbihan in Brittany , and later move to not too far Pluvigner. Total so far in France has been 20 years, and counting.
