My curiosities of my life !!!

Well, never the creative mind, this is the best I could come up for a title ….I found me some old pictures in my vault that for memories’s sake need to be in my blog. After all, as said, this blog is my life’s history and hopefully for generations to come of my sons and family. It has been a thrill to tell you about these incidents of my life and appreciate the support and kind words I have gotten in the past. It will be mostly a pictorial, with brief comments on each picture. Of course, will be in chronological order. There you go folks short and to the point easy does it. From the roofstop of my maternal grandmother Amparo towards Santa Fe beach on Calle 50 and on right Bodega de Chencho where we shop when available ! The street running at it is Avenida 247, my street in Punta Brava. My native town you know.

 The monument to Antonio Maceo y Grajales located between El Malecón and the Hermanos Ameijeiras Hospital. Havana, Cuba. It is opposite the Hermanos Ameijeiras Hospital, at 701 Calle San Lázaro Street, is a bronze representation of the protagonist of the First War of Independence, one of the most important Cuban generals. The Bronze Titan as he was called , It was installed here in 1916.

The Swiss embassy in Havana, also, home of the American Interests Section that is so much known and needed !

The Perth Amboy High School, 300 Eagle Ave in New Jersey. My yearbook graduating picture 1977.I read they are in the process of building a new high school and this one do not know if stays as school or not. Historical building there from 1973-1977. Any alumnus ?

The Le Bellevue restaurant BB at 4 Av. Félix Faure in Les Mureaux, near the Sailing Club we enjoyed while living in the Yvelines dept 78 of the Île de France region,Sadly, it is no longer but here for the memories of always !

There you go folks, a short and dandy ,but very memorable post. Here now for me to browse easily when nostalgia sets in which in my retirement ,and many love ones gone is daily. I am a lover of travels to Europe , Americas , Africa and Asia as well ,who like to share my experiences of the last 53 years with the world, visiting so far 81 countries; living in 6, working in 5, and Citizen of 4, speaking fluently 4 languages. I can deal with sports especially football/soccer and love music, arts, wine collector/drinker, and go out to restaurants, and just visit the world. My background comes all the way from Candelaria and Pajara in Tenerife, Spain where my grandparents came from ;not knowing each other then, to Punta Brava, west of Havana, Cuba. There , my parents born in Cuba met and later on I was born there too. 100% guanche (annexed Tenerife to Spain on April 10 ,1496). I left Cuba as many have to Madrid, Spain where I lived for 4 years. Then, move to Perth Amboy ,New Jersey USA (living there 13 yrs) ; where I completed high school, became a US Citizen, learned to drive a car, and learned English. Afterward, went to the university in Florida, ERAU, and upon graduation decided to moved there to Ormond by the Sea, near Daytona Beach, finally moving North Miami, then Hialeah, then another moved to Silver Lakes division in Miramar, Broward county, Florida; in Florida I lived a total of 18 years. Finally , moved to France in 2003 ,Versailles call me for its royalty, and working in Paris was great. It was time to seek frontiers again and moved to Brech near Auray, Morbihan in Brittany , and later move to not too far Pluvigner. Total so far in France has been 20 years, and counting. Moving average a home every 5.5 years hopefully this will be my last. Cheers All rights reserved.
