The carrousel de la tour Eiffel of Paris!

Well, I just notice this quant merry go around was very little mentioned in previous posts and no pictures. I found a couple! in my vault and is a good thing to have it in my blog. After all, our earlier long ago trips to the area my kids climb aboard for a ride or two. Nice pictures brings to life memorable moments of my family ,and glad can tell you about the carrousel de la tour Eiffel of Paris!

The Quai Branly is a road located along the Seine (left bank) in the 7éme arrondissement. On April 14, 2021, the Council of Paris voted to rename most of Quai Branly (the portion located in front of the museum from Quai Branly to Place des Martyrs-Juifs-du-Vélodrome-d’Hiver, in the 7éme and 15éme arrondissements) Quai Jacques-Chirac, in honor of the former President of the French Republic (France). The Eiffel Tower, on the Champ-de-Mars is nearer the Pont d’Iéna, and the carrousel de la tour Eiffel.

The sometimes call the carrousel du Trocadéro is actually at the foot of the Eiffel Tower side, corner of Quai Branly and Pont d’Iéna, Therefore, the correct name is the carrousel de la tour Eiffel.  A typical Parisian merry-go-round with a retro look illuminated by its gilding and lanterns. The little extra: its breathtaking view of the Eiffel Tower on one side, and the Palais de Chaillot on the other. Unique to it is the staircase of wrought iron that curves round the base leading to smaller horses on the top deck. It is also the only carousel in Paris that goes in a clockwise direction !
