The foodie in Quiberon, part III !!!

Once again to one of my favorite spots in my beautiful Morbihan dept 56 of my lovely Bretagne and in my belle France, I have several posts on Quiberon of course, this is one of my latest rounds to it this week, Well this is by far the best area that I have seen in my area. The Quiberon is actually a presqu’Île (peninsula)  jetting out from mainland  France into the Atlantic ocean , This is a sublime spot visited by all, locals and especially Europeans at Summer’s season, A must to visit while in the area or even coming to it alone, Let me tell you about the foodie in Quiberon, part III !!! Hope you enjoy it as I.

We stop by for a look at another of my favorites since way back by me in 2011 !! This was the  Quai Ouest  (funny its translates into Key West as in Florida USA);  the service and the speed are tops, even under the rain we ate in the covered terrace with heating.  It is at 51 Rue de Port Maria , right at the point along the quai de Belle Ile. My borador dog  Rex was again flawless, good boy !! Sadly it has closed with a new name of Quai 9 ,not tried yet, Here for the memories of always !

Another favorite Le Fisher’s Club ,a resto bistro right on the sand grandiose!!!  Very nice cool place , to relax by the sea, sublime, and even kids space to boot. classic on the Grande Plage of Quiberon .  The official Le Fisher’s Club see Quiberon : https://www.lefisher.fr/le-bar/

As said, our favorite and a great friend by now is the L’Esplanade Café right on Place Hoche.  The spot is great for people watching as folks from the parkings need to walk by it to access the big beach or Grande Plage, simply awesome! This is where we tried for the first time the great Belzebuth beer a specialty here only place to have it. It is from the Brasserie Goudale and coming in at 8.5% golden lager is awesome. We love it as my sons follow me lol!!! We have come back for more and even got the glasses for free !!! as by now everybody knows us !!! Althought this time when we passed by it they were already closed for the day, No webpage,

Boulangerie patissérie Riguidel, at 38 Rue de Port Maria , this is an institution here, and the especialty is the breton cakes especially the kouign amann done by fisherman that came from pays bigouden when Quiberon was one of the first port of sardines in France. Official Maison Riguidel : https://maison-riguidel.bzh/

La Compagnie Bretonne, located at 40 Rue de Port Maria, is a family cannery owned by Jean-François Furic, perpetuating a family heritage passed down for over 100 years. Sardines, mackerel, albacore tuna… our fish are processed traditionally, by hand, in our Penmarc’h workshop, with respect for the raw materials. Our team develops varied and balanced recipes based on the cannery’s history and our own creativity. The official La Compagnie Bretonne :https://www.lacompagniebretonne.fr/nos-magasins

Conserverie La Quiberonnaise (see pic above) Cannery, located at 40 rue de Port Maria, since 1921, is a family-run cannery that processes only fresh fish using traditional methods. Sardines are prepared and packed by hand within 48 hours of being caught. Albacore tuna, either natural or in oil, fish soup, lobster bisque, spreads, and mackerel fillets in white wine complement our wide range of vintage sardines and fish specialties. Direct sales from the factory are available in their shops in Quiberon and Carnac The official La Quiberonnaise : https://www.laquiberonnaise.fr/en/

Pulpo,(Sp Octopus) at 26 Place Hoche, is a tapas bar offering gourmet cuisine including octopus, tacos, shrimp, patatas bravas, and more, which will take you on a culinary journey. Enjoy their selection of wines, beers, and cocktails on the terrace or inside. The Spanish food is quite good indeed, I was a pleasant surprise to see them here as the food and the service was good , I stop by reminding me that at this same spot we came before with my dear late Martine on a place then call Le Tourbillon , and the service was very prompt and nice, At Pulpo we had a double ration of chorizo al pincho in wine sauce, croquetas de jamon or ham croquettes, patatas bravas, pulpo mix with bacon, and the basque beer Eguzki as well as the Coronas, all for 32 euros per person, but read twice the normal ration ! Good deal, Almost as good as been in Spain! No webpage,
