This is Trégunc !!!

I like to tell you about nice quant Trégunc in the Finistére deot 29 of my lovely Bretagne of my belle France! And on the road, we passed by several towns perhaps too small to stop or in a rush only to come back later if we feels warranted. I like to give this post a new light . This was due to some pictures found in my cd rom vault that should be in my blog for you and me, Therefore, here is my take on this is Trégunc !!! Hope you enjoy the post as I.

The town of Trégunc is 8 km from Concarneau, 35 km from Quimper, 100 km from Vannes, and 81 km from my current home along the road N165 connect D24 dir Rospoden, go around the big roundabout circle to connect with the D122 dir Trégunc then from City center follow panels to villages of Kerouini to parking area of Kerouiny, and walk to beach.

The Pointe de Trévignon, on which stands a villa-château (private property), dates from the beginning of the 20C, it was looted and burned in 1944 then rebuilt around 1950. This area or tip constitutes the southern point in the town of Trégunc. The port of Trévignon is protected by a pier equipped with a lighthouse. In its center, a construction on stilts houses the SNSM canoe (lifeguard volunteer org). The Pointe de Trévignon is surrounded by small beaches and constitutes the starting point for the visit of the natural area protected from the ponds of Trévignon, The Phare de Trévignon lighthouse, built at the beginning of the 20C, contributed to maritime security. Visitors will take advantage of walks along the coastal paths to admire the natural beauty of the region. The surrounding beaches, offering opportunities for swimming and relaxation, attract a lot of holidaymakers in the summer. It has a 6 km long dune cord extends between Pointe de Trévignon and Pointe de la Jument. Reading well this is a wild natural area of extreme beauty, worth the detour and walk.

The plage Pen Loc’h beach, in Trégunc is worthy of the most beautiful exotic beaches! Its white and fine sand makes you want to ride it, or just spread to the sun. As for the color of transparent waters, which invites for diving, There are many activities to do for all ages and for all tastes. For nautical leisure enthusiasts, Pen Loc’h beach offers activities such as windsurfing, kayaking and scuba diving. The clear and shallow waters of the bay are ideal for children and beginners. There are many good local restaurants, which offer typical dishes of Breton cuisine. It, also, has bars where you can have a drink by admiring the sunset over the sea. Finally, Pen Loc’h beach is an ideal place for families with entertainment for children, play areas and water game structures. Couples can also enjoy long walks on the beach and moments of relaxation on deck chairs. A sublime beautiful beach worth the long walk to it and detour on narrow country roads to get to it.

The parish Church Saint Marc construction begins in 1865 the Church is consecrated in 1867. Thereafter, a number of additional works is carried out. The cemetery that juxtaposed the Church is transferred  to route de Pont-Aven. The octagonal sacristy is destroyed, and  the presbytery gardens are purchased by the City/Town Hall in 1960 to build a new one.  The construction follows a perfectly symmetrical Latin cross plane of three naves on an east-west direction.  The Church Saint Marc comprises a nave of five bays, with the transept and chorus, the ensemble reaches the length of 60 meters. The bedside is composed of two sacristies, north and south side. Inside, the floor is covered with granite slabs.
