I am back in coastal gorgeous Locmariaquer in my beautiful Morbihan breton dept 56 of my lovely Bretagne in my belle France, I came to a familiar place so close to my house only 28 minutes. I again found me older pictures in my cd rom vault that should be in my blog for you and me, Therefore, again here is my take on the curiosities of Locmariaquer , part III !! Hope you enjoy it as I.
The Digue du Breneguy (dike) which allows you to connect the villages of Kerlud and Saint Pierre, while along the Toul-Keun cove. Under the aegis of the coastal conservatory, the coastal path of Brénéguy belongs to the servitude of the passage of pedestrians on the coast, like many other access connecting the coasts and territories. The plage Toul Keun beach is located in a small bay or anse ideal for learning to do windsurfing or dinghy. The beach is located opposite the ocean in a sheltered bay. It extends around it and allows you to reach the beaches of St-Pierre and the Grande plage. On the other hand, as often in Locmariaquer, this beach is completely unusable for swimming at low tide. It is 2 km long !

The Brénéguy site with its salant marshes, its oyster basins, its dike (digue) and its red house (manoir rouge), A longère( rural house typical of the Brittany region. The term “Longère” refers to its elongated and rectangular shape, characteristic of this architectural style), that was the property of the Countess Motta-and which would in fact belong to a family of the Motte … According to locals , the building would have always called the maison rouge. A nice manoir opposite the Fort Espagnol on the Auray river. Today, the house is used as a wedding site by many, There is ,also, a small beach,

Google says is about 25 min on foot but me always there by car from City center Locmariaquer (10 min) take the Voie des Mégalithes, (megaliths way), Vge de Kerlogonan (turning road), Route de Saint-Pierre direction Breneguy.
