I have been to London several times, more on business than pleasure and we all love it. However, my good boys wanted to see Harry Potter Studio and my oldest was having his 34th bday, so here we go !! I found me some interesting towns to visit and we did the English countryside on left driving piece of cake ! Therefore, I give you my take on the Eurotunnel Le Shuttle France/England/France !!! Hope you enjoy this post as I.
We took off late at night for an entry very early morning catching practically the first train shuttle with my Ford;my good boys and our wonderful Rex;the dog travels too and he love it !! LeShuttle or eurotunnel is near Calais at Coquelles, exit 42b of the A16 autoroute/motorway takes you directly to Check-in, Once in England the speed Limit is 60mph (96kph), rising to 70mph (112kph) on motorways. Speed limits are lower on other road types. Yes going down to 30 mph and plenty of radar cameras all over wow !!!

Driving back we left our apartment/flat at Hemel Hempstead on the A4146 , M25, and M20 to exit 11A Channel tunnel to Folkestone ,and into check in, Left driving is very easy just think of the reverse order, Paying attention on trafic circles or roundabouts which are plenty here, The M25, motorway/highway known locally as the London Orbital, serves the Greater London Area, for 188 km long. in Dartford, it becomes the A282 road and crosses the Thames river by the Elizabeth II Bridge and a Dartford Crossing tunnel.

LeShuttle is a unique, convenient and quick way to travel between the UK and France. You’ll travel between two international terminals via a shuttle that carries your car under the channel, in a journey time of just 35 minutes. The UK terminal is in Folkestone, Kent. It’s an easy drive from our base just under 2 hours by car. The France/Europe terminal is in Coquelles near Calais, Media will tell you Calais but actually this is Coquelles,

Not too complicated in fact easy but you need to provide Advance Passenger Information (API) as is mandatory for all passengers traveling with LeShuttle. This is a UK Home Office requirement for anyone entering or leaving the UK. Also, an ETA or digital travel permit required for short stays in the UK (up to 6 months) for purposes like tourism, visiting friends and family, business, or short-term studies. An ETA is valid for 2 years or until your passport expires, whichever is sooner. These were easy to get and doing it ahead of time will make you flawlessly into the Le Shuttle travel,

On our way back we did stop on a rest area on A28,the Aire des Deux Caps La croissanterie resto for a quick road lunch, And once closer to home we past again the wonderful Pont de Normandie!(see posts),
