The Fashion Week Paris 2026 !!!

I have worked in luxury establishments in Paris and had the opportunity to meet some of the best in fashion especially during fashion week Paris. This will be on my black and white series, no pictures. Each year away it brings back many nice funny souvenirs of those days in my eternal Paris, Therefore, I like to tell a bit on the fashion week Paris 2026 !!! Hope you enjoy the post as I,

Paris parades its finest creations in ready-to-wear on the occasion of Fashion Week. During this event, the new collections are presented at catwalk shows in the most beautiful places in the city. Courrèges, Lanvin, Iris Van Herpen, Christian Dior, Comme des Garçons, Stella McCartney or even Chanel, the biggest names take part in this event, making Fashion Week Paris one of the top events in the fashion world. The lineup this year will be Men’s Fashion Autumn/Winter 2026-2027: 20 to 25 January 2026. Women’s Fashion Autumn/Winter 2026-2027: 2 to 10 March 2026. Men’s Fashion Spring/Summer 2027: 23 to 28 June 2026. Women’s Fashion Spring/Summer 2027: 28 September to 6 October 2026. Paris Haute Couture Week: Spring/Summer 2026: 26 to 29 January 2026 and Autumn/Winter 2026-2027: 6 to 9 July 2026. The shows will take place in various iconic locations in Paris, including the Grand Palais, the Palais de Tokyo, and other historical and contemporary venues in the city.

In January 2026, the capital will host two major events: Paris Fashion Week® Menswear from Tuesday, January 20 to Sunday, January 25, 2026, followed by Haute Couture from Monday, January 26 to Thursday, January 29, 2026.

Menswear (January 20–25): a week punctuated by runway shows and presentations from major fashion houses and the creative scene. The schedule includes highly anticipated events e.g., Louis Vuitton, AMI, Hermès, Rick Owens , depending on the season’s schedule. Even without an invitation, the “Fashion Week” experience can be enjoyed through digital presentations/livestreams, the atmosphere surrounding the venues, and the constant flow of people in key districts. After the season’s major premieres, which saw more than a dozen debuts in September are Miguel Castro Freitas at Mugler, Mark Howard Thomas at Carven, Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez at Loewe..etc, Paris returns to its menswear program. This will continue on Tuesday, January 20, 2026: Jeanne Friot, Études Studio, Auralee, Louis Vuitton. Wednesday, January 21, 2026: 3.Paradis, Lemaire, Dior Homme, Walter Van Beirendonck, Egonlab., Ami. Thursday, January 22, 2026: Issey Miyake, Rick Owens, Kartik Research, Amiri, Yohji Yamamoto, Dries Van Noten. Friday, January 23, 2026: Junya Watanabe Man, Juun.J, Maison Mihara Yasuhiro, Willy Chavarria, Comme des Garçons Homme Plus, Officine Générale, LGN Louis-Gabriel Nouchi. Saturday, January 24, 2026: Kiko Kostadinov, White Mountaineering, Kolor, Magliano, Ziggy Chen, KidSuper, Hermès. And Sunday, January 25, 2026: Sacai, Wooyoungmi, Doublet, Taakk, Jacquemus.

Haute Couture Week will see the debuts of the latest appointees at the helm of the brands participating in the event. Pierpaolo Piccioli at Balenciaga, Matthieu Blazy for Chanel, and Jonathan Anderson for Dior will present their visions, the latter two for the very first time, Haute Couture (January 26–29): the most spectacular week, featuring iconic houses (e.g., Schiaparelli opening the week on the calendar, followed by Dior, Chanel, etc., according to the official schedule). Since most shows are by invitation only, the best strategy is to schedule your day around the broadcast times, the local area, and the most convenient times for your appointments.

Women’s Fashion Fall/Winter 2026-2027: Monday, March 2 to Tuesday, March 10, 2026.  One hundred and eleven houses are listed on the official calendar for Women’s Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2026, representing 75 runway shows and 36 presentations. Duran Lantink, Matthieu Blazy, and Jonathan Anderson, the three new designers from Jean Paul Gaultier, Chanel, and Dior, are the most anticipated names on these Parisian catwalks. Not forgetting Pierpaolo Piccioli, who succeeds Demna as head of Balenciaga. Also noteworthy are the runway debuts of Julie Kegels, Matières Fécales, and Meryll Rogge, as well as the presentation debuts of Façon Jacmin and Ganni. The calendar also sees the return of Agnès B., Carven, Celine, Jean Paul Gaultier, Lanvin, Loewe, Maison Margiela, Mugler, Thom Browne, and Vetements (runway shows), and Boyarovskaya, Didu, and Vaillant (presentations).

My background comes all the way from Candelaria and Pajara in Tenerife, Spain where my grandparents came from ;not knowing each other then, to Punta Brava, west of Havana, Cuba. There , my parents born in Cuba met and later on I was born there too. 100% guanche (annexed Tenerife to Spain on April 10 ,1496). I left Cuba as many have to Madrid, Spain where I lived for 4 years. Then, move to Perth Amboy ,New Jersey USA (living there 13 yrs) ; where I completed high school, became a US Citizen, learned to drive a car, and learned English. Afterward, went to the university in Florida, ERAU, and upon graduation decided to moved there to Ormond by the Sea, near Daytona Beach, finally moving North Miami, then Hialeah, then another moved to Silver Lakes division in Miramar, Broward county, Florida; in Florida I lived a total of 18 years. Finally , moved to France in 2003 ,Versailles call me for its royalty, and working in Paris was great. It was time to seek frontiers again and moved to Brech near Auray, Morbihan in Brittany , and later move to not too far Pluvigner. Total so far in France has been 20 years, and counting.
