The Village de Noël or Christmas market of Vannes is held from November 28, 2025 to January 4, 2026, experience the magic of the Christmas Market in Vannes. More than 30 chalets await you with unique gifts, Christmas culinary specialties, pretzels, mulled wine, and numerous festive activities for the whole family. The Christmas Village is located on the right bank of the port of Vannes, on the Simone Veil esplanade.

We came for a taste and came back and will be back heck it lasts until January 4 2026 !!! See you there or be square ! The different chalets presents are in no particular of order of preference :
Auvergne Chalet: Carefully prepared Auvergne specialties: aligot, truffade, charcuterie.
Savoyard Chalet: Typical cuisine: raclette, tartiflette, raclette sandwiches.
Pasta Chalet: Pasta in sauce served in wheels of Italian Parmesan cheese.
Canadian Chalet: Canadian specialties: poutine, BeaverTails, Canadian cola.
At the Little Waffles: Artisanal Belgian waffles, savory or sweet.

The City of Vannes invites young and old to share the magic of Christmas, from Friday, November 28, 2025 to Sunday, January 4, 2026. Lights, a Christmas village, musical entertainment and shows will fill the city center with festive cheer throughout this period.

The festivities kick off on Friday, November 28th at 19h (7pm) at Place Henri-IV. Discover the Carnival of the Animals , the theme of the 2025 illuminations, with the ermine as its totem animal. lluminations : every evening from 17h30 to midnight (until 22h for the sound system in the Constable’s Tower).Projections and lighting displays will illuminate five iconic locations: Porte Saint-Vincent, Constable’s Tower, Place Brûlée, Place Henri-IV and Place des Lices. Christmas Village : Simone-Veil esplanade, with around thirty chalets, food and local crafts (50% produced in Vannes). Open daily with extended hours during the holidays. Ferris wheel and musical entertainment on site. Family activities : Santa Claus parades, lantern walks, enchanted walks, shows and creative workshops in the neighborhoods. Concerts and storytelling : musical moments and shows organised by the conservatory, media libraries and neighbourhood councils throughout the month of December.
