Hôtel des Archevêques de Sens of Paris, part II !!!

We have driven and walked in my eternal Paris, and would like to have an imprint in my blog on the wonderful family times we had there, There is so much to see , doing my best, and glad found me these older pictures in my cd rom vault ,which now transposing in my blog for you and me, This was my former worked city, so glad to post more memorable spots on it, Therefore, here is my take on the Hôtel des Archevêques de Sens of Paris, part II !!! The magnificent Hôtel de Sens located at 1 rue de Figuier in the 4éme arrondissement of Paris. today its the Bibliothèque Forney or library since 1961. It has French style gardens and flamboyant  architecture style. The archbishop of Sens Tristan de Salazar ,made built his residence from 1475 to 1519 here. The famous queen Margot was one of its residents, Also known as the Hôtel des Archevêques de Sens is a wonderful architecturally stunning building with a nice history to it.

The Bibliothéque Forney library is part of the network of specialized libraries of the City of Paris, its collections having developed around the decorative arts, crafts and their techniques, fine and graphic arts. It regularly organizes exhibitions. It takes its name from Samuel Aimé Forney, a businessman of Swiss origin particularly interested in vocational training and the arts and crafts who proposed by will to the City of Paris to create an institution to promote the education of artisans.

As an anecdote: In 1830, during the Trois Glorieuses, many cannonballs were fired. One of them, never having been able to be extracted from the wall of the facade of the Hôtel de Sens where it had been stuck, has become a concrete testimony of these revolutionary days. Now still sealed in the wall, it is visible with the date engraved below it.

There , my parents born in Cuba met and later on I was born there too. 100% guanche (annexed Tenerife to Spain on April 10 ,1496). I left Cuba as many have to Madrid, Spain where I lived for 4 years. Then, move to Perth Amboy ,New Jersey USA (living there 13 yrs) ; where I completed high school, became a US Citizen, learned to drive a car, and learned English. Afterward, went to the university in Florida, ERAU, and upon graduation decided to moved there to Ormond by the Sea, near Daytona Beach, finally moving North Miami, then Hialeah, then another moved to Silver Lakes division in Miramar, Broward county, Florida; in Florida I lived a total of 18 years. Finally , moved to France in 2003 ,Versailles call me for its royalty, and working in Paris was great. It was time to seek frontiers again and moved to Brech near Auray, Morbihan in Brittany , and later move to not too far Pluvigner. Total so far in France has been 20 years, and counting.
