My places to eat and shop in Vannes, part II !!!

We come by here always, we eat here , enjoy it here ,ride boats here, and do shopping galore on many items yet I need to tell you more, I have come back again for a special day, Sunday May 25th is Mother’s Day or Fêtes des Méres in my belle France ! This now is sad as we have no mothers to celebrate now, but do so in rememberance of all they have given us, and it has been huge, Thank you always my dear Mom Gladys and my dear wife Martine,always remembered, After all as said, my blog is my life’s history !!! Of course, this was in my capital cityy of Vannes in my beautiful Morbihan dept 56, in my lovely Bretagne,and in my belle France. I like to tell you more my places to eat and shop in Vannes, part II !!! Hope you enjoy it as I 

We went out as was about time to give my lovable dog Rex his grooming, The salon Pattes de Velours, (velvet paws )  in Vannes handle by our former groomer of Brec’h nwe went right in and it was a wonderful experience talking and the grooming of Rex, he was confortable and nice the whole way, My adorable Rex is 7 years old border collier/labrador mix or Borador !! Part of our family we love him dearly ! Chosen by my dear late wife Martine who gave him his name from a police series in Europe.

Did not took picture but for the record, stop by Leroy Merlin which it has been a while and found me a deal on a grass mower Bosch and purchase it, battery power and we already have several items from them so batteries are interchangeable ! The closest store is 37 km from our home at Z.A Atlantheix, 2 Rue de la Bourdonnais, in the town of Theix-Noyalo, They are DIY store for building, gardening, renovating, etc.

La Boucherie, that we have patronized are at Rue du Gay Lussac, Zone du Parc lann, Vannes ,we had lunch and dinner here , lunch today in an advance premiere of Mother’s Day or Fêtes des Méres in France,Afterward, we did our road warrior walking tours of the rest of businesses which are in this area, In these restaurants you can order all kinds of beef cuts, pork, homemade sausages,poultry, turkey, duck quail, pigeon, etc. lamb and offal beef, as well as a wide choice of charcuterie  As it was a special day we started with an apero or apéritif Kir Chardonnay Pêche (peach), with a platter of cold cuts including pastrami ; then the main dish entrecôte or rib steak of 400 grams or about 14 ounces, for dessert a coupe frutti fruiti with mango ice cream, My boys had different cuts of beef and drinks, desserts etc all wash down with a bottle of Don Quichotte Le Roc Fronton 2019 of Negrette and Syrah grapes originally from the Toulouse area we know much ! All for less than 54 euros per person.

We stop by with no pictures at Marie Blachère bakery next to shopping Grand Frais which we have visited in the past and went in to get our baguettes and Clafoutis aux pommes praliné ,delicious and always good here with excellent prices, The bakery is nationwide,

.The Cinéville de Parc-Lann, arrived in November 18, 2005, with more modern rooms and films to offer. A 7-screen multiplex located behind the E Leclerc hypermarket, offers comfortable rooms equipped with the latest technology. 

We do shop for some groceries, especially non edible types in the Centre Commercial E Leclerc for all our sundry items and my boys cultural spot the Espace Culturel Leclerc a separate store in the shopping center, Most of the time we parked in the underground parking with escaltors and elevators/lifts from the parking, I have other stories on it in my blog, we were just passing by today,

O2 Fleurs is where I have come lately for sad special occasions like now Mother’s Day coming in France, They have a friendly staff, nice displays of fresh flowers and good prices, They are open 7 days a week in Vannes at1 rue Parissot Zone Parc Lann ; where most of the businesses we support are located, At O2 Fleurs, the main focus is on plants and bouquets, already composed or personalized according to the season and your desires. The plus: a large selection of fresh flowers cut in store to create your own bouquet. Nice We were passing nearby and took this afar picture.

With a philosophy: to highlight the quality of the first price and the low price of the top-of-the-range product It all began at the Auchan shopping center, in Englos, in northern France; a 900 m² building, Their first store in Spain was in 1992 at Badalona, and now as of 2014 I have confirm 1749 stores worldwide, My store is located at 1 rue Jacques Rueff, behind E Leclerc and Cinéville in a shopping central area for us. There you go folks, yes we have been out a lot ,and of course now with more vivid memories than ever as my dearest are no longer physically around me anymore, they will continue to be the motor that got me going in life. There , my parents born in Cuba met and later on I was born there too. 100% guanche (annexed Tenerife to Spain on April 10 ,1496). I left Cuba as many have to Madrid, Spain where I lived for 4 years. Then, move to Perth Amboy ,New Jersey USA (living there 13 yrs) ; where I completed high school, became a US Citizen, learned to drive a car, and learned English. Afterward, went to the university in Florida, ERAU, and upon graduation decided to moved there to Ormond by the Sea, near Daytona Beach, finally moving North Miami, then Hialeah, then another moved to Silver Lakes division in Miramar, Broward county, Florida; in Florida I lived a total of 18 years. Finally , moved to France in 2003 ,Versailles call me for its royalty, and working in Paris was great. It was time to seek frontiers again and moved to Brech near Auray, Morbihan in Brittany , and later move to not too far Pluvigner. Total so far in France has been 20 years, and counting.
