The Château de Manéhouarn of Plouay !!

The château de Manéhouarn is located in the town of Plouay in my beautiful department of Morbihan no, 56 of my lovely Bretagne, and my belle France. I came for the castle and a lovely ride, and new found things to see , This is a split post to give you the castle and chapel, Therefore, let me tell you a bit on the Château de Manéhouarn of Plouay !! The current castle was built in 1758, and was the property of the Pluvié family, from 1460 until 1985. This castle was modified around 1758 by Jean-Toussaint de Pluvié who added a private chapel dedicated to Notre-Dame de Sion ,apart from the castle (see post). It is currently the property of the town of Plouay. The facade includes an oval pediment on which are carved the coat of arms of the Pluvié family.

The park, now public, offers locals and visitors an area entirely devoted to leisure: a place to walk, it offers mountain biking circuits, a play area for children, an all-sports park and a skate park. The château de Manéhouarn park opens the doors of its fifty-hectare park to you. On foot, on horseback or by bike, you can discover the many paths accessible from the estate. Children will not be left out thanks to the play areas provided for them. And fishermen will have plenty of time to give free rein to their passion in one of the ponds located in the area. As for the castle, unfortunately closed to the public. You can rent gîtes or rental apartment in the domaine property an adjacent building to the castle.

Then, move to Perth Amboy ,New Jersey USA (living there 13 yrs) ; where I completed high school, became a US Citizen, learned to drive a car, and learned English. Afterward, went to the university in Florida, ERAU, and upon graduation decided to moved there to Ormond by the Sea, near Daytona Beach, finally moving North Miami, then Hialeah, then another moved to Silver Lakes division in Miramar, Broward county, Florida; in Florida I lived a total of 18 years. Finally , moved to France in 2003 ,Versailles call me for its royalty, and working in Paris was great. It was time to seek frontiers again and moved to Brech near Auray, Morbihan in Brittany , and later move to not too far Pluvigner. Total so far in France has been 20 years, and counting.
