Boating at La Trinité sur Mer, part II !!!

This is a wonderful heavens and boater’s paradise about 33 Kms ( 20 miles) from my house. Weekends specially in good weather is glorious to have it as your backyard, even in winter . Not to mention the whole of the coastal department 56 of my beautiful  Morbihan in my lovely Bretagne. I will expanding on a previous post and with new pictures in my blog on the boating at La Trinité sur Mer, part II !!! Hope you enjoy the post as I.

This is a wonderful heavens and boater’s paradise about 33 Kms ( 20 miles) from my house. We go by car along the D768 to the N165 and then turn direction Vannes for a while on this road before hooking up again with the D768 direction Carnac and hooking up with the road D186 direction La Trinité sur Mer. 

The harbor or port, all glorious boats of it, restos, bars, shops. Always great to walk it leisurely and no hurry.  The boat capacity here afloat has 1,290 places (1,070 on pontoons and 180 on mooring).  A technical reserve for 200 boats. Dry port in partnership with the company Multipôle 56: 510 berths ; reception of habitable boats from 9 m to 14 m and motor boats of 7.50 m / 8 m. Below ,The Famous Project of the IDEC SPORT maxi trimaran, a 32-meter giant. The legendary sailboat, three-time winner of the Route du Rhum and holder of the Jules Verne Trophy since 2017, has returned to its natural habitat, its mast, its sails, and is now home to La Trinité-sur-Mer.

Immerse yourself in La Trinité sur Mer for a weekend or more, and let yourself be told the thousand and one stories of all the lovers of the sea that the famous marina shelters. Renowned skippers, passionate oyster farmers, occasional boaters or seasoned fishermen, each plays with a pencil to offer the visitor a rich and colorful picture. La Trinité-sur-Mer, a colorful seaside resort!  See below, the  Actual Leader, the new Ultim owned by Yves Le Blevec, a native of La Trinité sur Mer. This giant of the sea, a maxi-trimaran measuring 31 m long and 21 m wide. The mast height  35 m; a maxi-trimaran designed to circumnavigate the globe,with the Tour de Belle-Île as a test and easy feat.

The wonderful SNSM lifesavers at sea volunteer force which I proudly support ,their vedette boat was at the marina.See the red boat !

There you go folks, another gem in my background. If you love the sea and I do, and boating and I do and all related to the sea including scuba diving, then you must come to La Trinité sur Mer. There , my parents born in Cuba met and later on I was born there too. 100% guanche (annexed Tenerife to Spain on April 10 ,1496). I left Cuba as many have to Madrid, Spain where I lived for 4 years. Then, move to Perth Amboy ,New Jersey USA (living there 13 yrs) ; where I completed high school, became a US Citizen, learned to drive a car, and learned English. Afterward, went to the university in Florida, ERAU, and upon graduation decided to moved there to Ormond by the Sea, near Daytona Beach, finally moving North Miami, then Hialeah, then another moved to Silver Lakes division in Miramar, Broward county, Florida; in Florida I lived a total of 18 years. Finally , moved to France in 2003 ,Versailles call me for its royalty, and working in Paris was great. It was time to seek frontiers again and moved to Brech near Auray, Morbihan in Brittany , and later move to not too far Pluvigner. Total so far in France has been 20 years, and counting.
