The cultural space chapel Sainte Anne of La Baule-Escoublac !!!

The town of La Baule-Escoublac is in the dept 44 of Loire Atlantique in the region of Pays de la Loire, and in my belle France . I step into La Baule, as a collègue of mine lived not far from there and was telling how nice it was but very crowded in Summer. So we decided to check it out in the Fall and have a taste of it. Nice experience we enjoyed the cultural activities there and will be back, eventually. Therefore, here is my take on the cultural space chapel Sainte Anne of La Baule-Escoublac !!! Hope you enjoy the post as I. la-baule-chapelle-ste-anne-cultural-space-center-dec15 The cultural space of the Chapel Sainte-Anne is located at Place du Maréchal Leclerc. It welcomes around twenty cultural events each year: concerts, sculpture exhibitions, paintings, photographs organized by Bauloises (local) associations, as well as event exhibitions organized by the city of La Baule-Escoublac. When we were there, there was a showing of nativity scènes sets from Latin America including Cuba which was just wonderful.  la-baule-chapelle-ste-anne-cultural-space-center-expo-latin-america-dec15 la-baule-chapelle-ste-anne-cultural-space-center-expo-la-on-cuba-dec15 The cultural space of the Chapel Sainte-Anne is great ,this is used to be the Notre-Dame-des-Flots, which was built between 1880 and 1886 and extended by two lateral naves in 1903.During the nazis occupation in WWII, the schools of the town of La Baule-Escoublac were requisitioned and the chapel serves as a classroom. For several decades, the chapel is only used very occasionally: rare masses are celebrated there, Corpus Christi processions or Breton pardons. It was abandoned later on and the chapel was acquired by the city in 1981. In 1989, after renovations the building was change into a cultural center. la-baule-chapelle-ste-anne-cultural-space-center-expo-creches-latin-america-dec15 It was built in granite rubble walls and bay frames and size granite corner chains. A triangular pediment bell tower with a cross -on cross overcomes the pinion. A quadrilobed rosette pierces the center of this gable and a double door framed by two columns with sculpted capitals and surmounted by a full-linen tympanum opens in the axis of the nave. There , my parents born in Cuba met and later on I was born there too. 100% guanche (annexed Tenerife to Spain on April 10 ,1496). I left Cuba as many have to Madrid, Spain where I lived for 4 years. Then, move to Perth Amboy ,New Jersey USA (living there 13 yrs) ; where I completed high school, became a US Citizen, learned to drive a car, and learned English. Afterward, went to the university in Florida, ERAU, and upon graduation decided to moved there to Ormond by the Sea, near Daytona Beach, finally moving North Miami, then Hialeah, then another moved to Silver Lakes division in Miramar, Broward county, Florida; in Florida I lived a total of 18 years. Finally , moved to France in 2003 ,Versailles call me for its royalty, and working in Paris was great. It was time to seek frontiers again and moved to Brech near Auray, Morbihan in Brittany , and later move to not too far Pluvigner. Total so far in France has been 20 years, and counting.
