The Chapelle Notre Dame du Plasker of Locminé , part II !!!

Again, back in my road warrior days and coming to show you the a wonderful monument of Locminé, a town visit and passed by often on my ways about, Of course, have written on it before but these are newer pictures that show you more of the chapel , For reference, Locminé is in my beautiful Morbihan of my lovely Bretagne and in my belle France ,Therefore, here is my take again on the Chapelle Notre Dame du Plasker of Locminé, part II !!! Hope you enjoy the post as I  locmine-chapelle-nd-du-plasker-back-jan16 The Chapelle Notre Dame du Plasker is a place of prayer that have existed in its location as early as the 11C. The present Chapel dates from the 16C. During the French revolution, the chapel was transformed into a material depot and served for some time as a deciders temple. In 1804, the town brought down the upper part of the bell tower and replaced it with the current  stove. See my other post on it with more! On the occasion of a marriage, in 1675, the register of catholicity called it Notre-Dame de la Belle-Place (Our Lady of the Beautiful square). Apparently, the square that bordered her had no particular beauty. This Chapelle Notre Dame du Plasker, which supports a small square tower, was to be vaulted , but the vault was never finished. The third-point windows have a flamboyant network: above that of the bedside outside, there is a mutilated crest. The Chapel is covered with a roof with a frame whose entrails, with crocodile heads, have been cut. There are some fragments of stained glass from the 16C and a pretty flaming pool. Then, move to Perth Amboy ,New Jersey USA (living there 13 yrs) ; where I completed high school, became a US Citizen, learned to drive a car, and learned English. Afterward, went to the university in Florida, ERAU, and upon graduation decided to moved there to Ormond by the Sea, near Daytona Beach, finally moving North Miami, then Hialeah, then another moved to Silver Lakes division in Miramar, Broward county, Florida; in Florida I lived a total of 18 years. Finally , moved to France in 2003 ,Versailles call me for its royalty, and working in Paris was great. It was time to seek frontiers again and moved to Brech near Auray, Morbihan in Brittany , and later move to not too far Pluvigner. Total so far in France has been 20 years, and counting.
