Curiosities of Bon Repos sur Blavet !!

I like to tell you about the new small town of Bon Repos sur Blavet, but not let them fool you the best here is in the old part, this is now a combination of at least 3 towns that I visited on my last road warrior tour of my region, These town are all in the Côtes-d’Armor Dept 22 of my lovely region of Bretagne, and in my belle France. Just to show you the diversity and beauty all around me, Therefore, this is my take on curiosities of Bon Repos sur Blavet !! Hope you enjoy it as I.

In Bon Repos sur Blavet see the current Pont à Ten Arches de Bon-Repos, dated from the 17C, most likely replaces a medieval crossing built by the monks, following the donation to the abbey, of the two banks of the Blavet by the Rohan

The Railway of Bon-Repos is a tourist railway created by the friends of the Bon-Repos railway. It is located near the Notre-Dame de Bon-Repos abbey. Passed by on the D2164 road but did not took a picture! Worth to come back for it thus, me think! 

The Nantes-Brest Canal ,channeled Blavet river and now Lac de Guerlédan is at the southern limit of this former commune; The locks of Bellevue and Bon-Repos are accessible to tourism navigation, the others have been bored under the waters of Lake Guerlédan, for example the lock house of Kermadec and those of Trégneron.

We passed underneath a wonderful viaduc, this is the Viaduc of Bon Repos a former railway viaduct which crosses the Daoulas gorges discovered at the bend of a small road north of Bon Repos. A greenway goes on this viaduct, we can also make the descend of this 17 -meters building. Walkers’ paradise now.

Then, move to Perth Amboy ,New Jersey USA (living there 13 yrs) ; where I completed high school, became a US Citizen, learned to drive a car, and learned English. Afterward, went to the university in Florida, ERAU, and upon graduation decided to moved there to Ormond by the Sea, near Daytona Beach, finally moving North Miami, then Hialeah, then another moved to Silver Lakes division in Miramar, Broward county, Florida; in Florida I lived a total of 18 years. Finally , moved to France in 2003 ,Versailles call me for its royalty, and working in Paris was great. It was time to seek frontiers again and moved to Brech near Auray, Morbihan in Brittany , and later move to not too far Pluvigner. Total so far in France has been 20 years, and counting.
