I come to my nice Rennes. This time one of the nicest monument , and of course the City is in Îlle et Vilaine dept 35,of my lovely Bretagne,I have come back to this beautiful City after a long hiatus and it was wonderful, Bear with me as the next posts will be on this wonderful City, Let me tell you about La Criée center of contemporary arts and market of Rennes !!! Located since 1986 in the city center of Rennes, in the old fish market, the Center for Contemporary Art  is a place for exhibitions and meetings. Laboratory space, it supports the research, production and dissemination of today’s artists and their works, in and outside its walls. The Halles Centrale building was built by the architect Emmanuel Leray. Inaugurated on April 29, 1923, his name registered on the pediment indicates still “municipal auction” although the wholesale of fish, then fruit and vegetables have ceased in the 1960s. The other parts of the building still welcomed a market food opened every day.

The space occupied by the auction is transformed into a place of dissemination of contemporary art in 1986. It consists of two exhibition rooms, one of 135 m² and the other of 25 m², as well as two small rooms of 12 m² , The La Criée Centre d’Art Contemporain , of the city of Rennes, is founded in 1999. Open to a large audience, the auction is from a place where the artistic forms of today are invented and reflected. hui and tomorrow, as well as the uses of these forms.

La Criée marché offered fresh products, and food trade. A regular flea and food market. Bound by rue Jules Simon and Bd de la Liberté. La Criée – Halle Centrale ,2 Place Honoré Commeurec designed by the architect Emmanuel Le Ray and built between 1912 and 1926 this covered market was located behind Place de la République, between Place Honoré Comeureuc, rue de Nemours, boulevard de la liberté and rue Jules Simon. Every day, 28 traders offer various and quality products: meats, fish, fruits and vegetables, wines, cheeses, delicatessen, breads … You can even enjoy an oyster bar and also taste pancake specialties and pancakes and pancakes.

There , my parents born in Cuba met and later on I was born there too. 100% guanche (annexed Tenerife to Spain on April 10 ,1496). I left Cuba as many have to Madrid, Spain where I lived for 4 years. Then, move to Perth Amboy ,New Jersey USA (living there 13 yrs) ; where I completed high school, became a US Citizen, learned to drive a car, and learned English. Afterward, went to the university in Florida, ERAU, and upon graduation decided to moved there to Ormond by the Sea, near Daytona Beach, finally moving North Miami, then Hialeah, then another moved to Silver Lakes division in Miramar, Broward county, Florida; in Florida I lived a total of 18 years. Finally , moved to France in 2003 ,Versailles call me for its royalty, and working in Paris was great. It was time to seek frontiers again and moved to Brech near Auray, Morbihan in Brittany , and later move to not too far Pluvigner. Total so far in France has been 20 years, and counting.
