The Hôtel Dieu of Rennes !!

I come to my nice Rennes. This time one of the nicest monument , and of course the City is in Îlle et Vilaine dept 35,of my lovely Bretagne, I have come back to this beautiful City after a long hiatus and it was wonderful, Bear with me as the next posts will be on this beautiful City, Let me tell you about the Hôtel Dieu of Rennes !! In the historic center of Rennes,the old hospital has resumed life … The Hôtel-Dieu, a place of heritage, built in 1858, now houses new ephemeral activities for a period of 3 years. The time that the total rehabilitation of the site of almost 30,000 square meters is over. The project is part of the deployment of the downtown Rennes and will eventually include housing, a hostellerie, a food-cut, a wellness space and shops.

With The Roof Rennes  Bistro-Brasserie Origines, the Hôtel-Dieu now offers new original and complementary activities: climbing blocks, yoga lessons, slackline for the sports part and a micro-brasserie catering offer, coupled with events in the cloister for the festive side. On nearly 1,200 square meters, a new atmosphere awaits you in a “House of Climbing for all” with several blocks of climbing blocks, including a specially furnished and secure for children aged 3 to 9. Two other spaces are open for beginners or experts, with in particular a block installed in a patio and a large wall for all levels. No need for a harness or strings, the practice is free access and only climbing slippers (it is possible to rent on site) are necessary to gain height. Other sports and well-being activities are also offered on the site with yoga lessons by the Dog Association Tête below, Shiatsu and Slackline.

There , my parents born in Cuba met and later on I was born there too. 100% guanche (annexed Tenerife to Spain on April 10 ,1496). I left Cuba as many have to Madrid, Spain where I lived for 4 years. Then, move to Perth Amboy ,New Jersey USA (living there 13 yrs) ; where I completed high school, became a US Citizen, learned to drive a car, and learned English. Afterward, went to the university in Florida, ERAU, and upon graduation decided to moved there to Ormond by the Sea, near Daytona Beach, finally moving North Miami, then Hialeah, then another moved to Silver Lakes division in Miramar, Broward county, Florida; in Florida I lived a total of 18 years. Finally , moved to France in 2003 ,Versailles call me for its royalty, and working in Paris was great. It was time to seek frontiers again and moved to Brech near Auray, Morbihan in Brittany , and later move to not too far Pluvigner. Total so far in France has been 20 years, and counting.
