The whole City is wonderful ,and one of its magic in the city is the Jardin Public, Its time for me to tell you about it with an old paper picture just found in my vault and should be in my blog, Of course, Bordeaux is in the Gironde dept 33 of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region of my belle France, Therefore, I like to tell you a bit on the Jardin Public of Bordeaux !!! Hope you enjoy the post as I.
The Jardin Public of Bordeaux was screened in 1746 by the Intendant Tourny, a first French garden was completed 10 years later. Then, in 1856, the city launched its redevelopment in the English garden, a style which it retains until today. The garden is located in the center of the city, beyond the cours Verdun street.

You will find two porticos with ionic columns built in 1749. Then , the public garden was enlarged by a riding school, the royal carousel, with an imposing portico which allows you to look at the exercises of the riders which are intended for horse regiments ,The merry -go -round is decorated with a colonnade surmounted by a pediment. A jeu de paume opens next to the merry-go-round. The grid and the doors of the current Cours Verdun has the first door, close to the current Place Tourny of 1757. The other two are made in 1761, In 1856, an English park (romantic style) with its lawns, its winding alleys and its water room with two footbridges were installed with the width of the crinolines. It is planted with rare trees: giant redwoods, crep, virginia tulip trees, Japan walnut trees, etc. The Botanical Garden were moved here in 1858.

I am a lover of travels to Europe , Americas , Africa and Asia as well ,who like to share my experiences of the last 53 years with the world, visiting so far 81 countries; living in 6, working in 5, and Citizen of 4, speaking fluently 4 languages. I can deal with sports especially football/soccer and love music, arts, wine collector/drinker, and go out to restaurants, and just visit the world.
My background comes all the way from Candelaria and Pajara in Tenerife, Spain where my grandparents came from ;not knowing each other then, to Punta Brava, west of Havana, Cuba. There , my parents born in Cuba met and later on I was born there too. 100% guanche (annexed Tenerife to Spain on April 10 ,1496). I left Cuba as many have to Madrid, Spain where I lived for 4 years. Then, move to Perth Amboy ,New Jersey USA (living there 13 yrs) ; where I completed high school, became a US Citizen, learned to drive a car, and learned English. Afterward, went to the university in Florida, ERAU, and upon graduation decided to moved there to Ormond by the Sea, near Daytona Beach, finally moving North Miami, then Hialeah, then another moved to Silver Lakes division in Miramar, Broward county, Florida; in Florida I lived a total of 18 years. Finally , moved to France in 2003 ,Versailles call me for its royalty, and working in Paris was great. It was time to seek frontiers again and moved to Brech near Auray, Morbihan in Brittany , and later move to not too far Pluvigner. Total so far in France has been 20 years, and counting.
Moving average a home every 5.5 years hopefully this will be my last. Cheers

I visited Paris for the first time in June. I loved the city. But I still have a thousand things to do. It was 5 rainy days with children 🙂 and I could only see the most visited places in the city. (including Versailles). I hope to return. Thank you!
