The petit train of Saint Malo !!!

Let me bring you to the magical world of litle tourist trains which abound in my belleFrance. I cannot tell you all to get on them, but if want an overview of a City especially hilly cobblestone like Saint Malo then this is a practical way to see it all before concentrating on the best. We have enjoyed them tremendously especially when visiting early on that my boys were younger,and the one in Saint Malo was special, the memories lingered for the parents, I found me some pictures not in my blog and they should be, Therefore, here is my take on the petit train of Saint Malo !! Hope you enjoy it as we did.

The Petit Train of Saint Malo. another good option on a narrow cobblestone fortified city to take the tour first. You take it at the Esplanade Saint Vincent, between the tourist office and the Castle.The visit lasts 30 minutes inside the old town. With its transparent roofs, you will see the charm of the intramural and the extent of the historic monuments, but also the Corsaires district illustrated by the statues of native men of Saint-Malo. You will enjoy a breathtaking view of the bay and discover the phenomenon of the largest tides in Europe. An easel indicates the time for the following visit (every 40 minutes). Without reservation for individuals.

You will know everything about the East India Company, the famous corsairs and illustrious characters in the city. On board, comfortably installed, a helmet on the ears, admire the monuments thanks to the transparent roofs while enjoying the audios comments. You will discover the magnificent bay of Saint-Malo, the Saint-Vincent Cathedral , the Saint-Pierre gate or the reconstruction of the corsair city after WWII, Children have their own commented version by Zig and Zag. What to appreciate the motto of the Local Malouins: “neither French nor Breton, Malouin I am”!

 There you go folks, Saint Malo is a must visit by all and the petit train is worth the ride especially with family and your first time in the area. You will have an idea of all the wonderful things to see briefly for later come back for a more in depth look on those you like the most. Great idea ! There , my parents born in Cuba met and later on I was born there too. 100% guanche (annexed Tenerife to Spain on April 10 ,1496). I left Cuba as many have to Madrid, Spain where I lived for 4 years. Then, move to Perth Amboy ,New Jersey USA (living there 13 yrs) ; where I completed high school, became a US Citizen, learned to drive a car, and learned English. Afterward, went to the university in Florida, ERAU, and upon graduation decided to moved there to Ormond by the Sea, near Daytona Beach, finally moving North Miami, then Hialeah, then another moved to Silver Lakes division in Miramar, Broward county, Florida; in Florida I lived a total of 18 years. Finally , moved to France in 2003 ,Versailles call me for its royalty, and working in Paris was great. It was time to seek frontiers again and moved to Brech near Auray, Morbihan in Brittany , and later move to not too far Pluvigner. Total so far in France has been 20 years, and counting.
