Again, in my road warrior trips to my nearby town of Auray in my beautiful Morbihan, I have many posts on Auray in my blog, and this one was just visiting again today, and new pictures that should be in my blog. Therefore, here is my take on the curiosities of Auray !!! Part VIII , Hope you enjoy it as I.

My bank is BNP Paribas at 3 bis rue Aristide Briand Auray, The main BNP Paribas which is originally a merged of Bank National de Paris and Banque Paribas is headquartered in Paris, France It has a global network of retail banks in 64 country, including the United States at New York (Axa Equitable Building, 787 7th Avenue) ,New Jersey (Newport Office Tower, 525 Washington Blvd , Jersey City), San Francisco, and Chesterbrook Pa, In Europe they are mainly in Italy, Belgium and Luxembourg, In Africa they are in South Africa, Algeria, and Morocco, In the Middle East they are in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Emirates Arabs, Kuwait, While in Asia they are in Australia, China, South Korea, Hong Kong Sar ,Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand ,Singapore, Taiwan-China ; Thailand, and Vietnam. The Skatepark has been delayed and now expected completion is for late june 2024, It will be free access, next to the St-Gildas cemetery,and in front of the Salle Péron, The slide surface of 1,150 m² which must satisfy skateboarders as much as rollerblading, BMX and scooter followers. There will be a bowl on 125 m2, and the long Streetpark part with an area of 1,025 m2, on the front of boulevard Kennedy.,

The Rue Georges Clemenceau is where the Convent d’Augustines from the 15-17C is located next to the music school, attached to the Sainte-Hélène Chapel, built in 1651, The old Hôtel-Dieu inside has furniture and the woodwork dating from the 19C , The convent of Augustines in 1674, at the request of the advisor to the Parliament of Brittany, the Augustines, of the hospital nuns, settled in Auray. The chapel is transformed in the hospital room to welcome soldiers, mutilated sailors and victims of epidemics, it was enlarged in the 19C, Very nice historical street we like to walk each time in town, Worth the walk me think.

There , my parents born in Cuba met and later on I was born there too. 100% guanche (annexed Tenerife to Spain on April 10 ,1496). I left Cuba as many have to Madrid, Spain where I lived for 4 years. Then, move to Perth Amboy ,New Jersey USA (living there 13 yrs) ; where I completed high school, became a US Citizen, learned to drive a car, and learned English. Afterward, went to the university in Florida, ERAU, and upon graduation decided to moved there to Ormond by the Sea, near Daytona Beach, finally moving North Miami, then Hialeah, then another moved to Silver Lakes division in Miramar, Broward county, Florida; in Florida I lived a total of 18 years. Finally , moved to France in 2003 ,Versailles call me for its royalty, and working in Paris was great. It was time to seek frontiers again and moved to Brech near Auray, Morbihan in Brittany , and later move to not too far Pluvigner. Total so far in France has been 20 years, and counting. Moving average a home every 5.5 years hopefully this will be my last. Cheers All rights reserved.
