The beaches of Guidel Plage !!!

In my beautiful Morbihan dept 56 of my lovely Bretagne and in my belle France, I take you to the beach or Guidel Plage with its beaches. Therefore, let me tell you more on the beaches of Guidel Plage !!! ,Hope you you enjoy the post as I.

The coastline is made up of long beaches indeed, and the beaches of Guidel Plage , because of their exposure to the prevailing winds, are a surf spot. They are among the ten Breton sites most favorable to the practice of this sport.

The Guidel beaches are nice and surrounded by gigantic sandy beaches, Guidel Plage welcomes you for a relaxing seaside retreat. For a refreshing swim, you will be spoilt for choice between the beach of the Pouldu (best), that of the Falaise, that of the Loc’h or that of Fort-Bloqué. Thanks to the beach clubs, you can try all sorts of nautical activities from windsurfing to kayaking. A wide range of sports is at your disposal. Do not miss to visit the mouth of the Laita, this coastal Bay stretches between the Marina and the bridge of Saint-Maurice winding along a river of 15 km of litoral with irregular curves. like I said you will be in heavens.

The beach by the port is Plage du Bas Pouldu, and it has a nice sandy space starting from the wall of the port pleasure marina to the left for several hundred meters.

Then, if you follow the road along the ocean , you come to the plage de la Falaise , simply rival any anywhere, several hundred meters ,bigger and wider on a strip of land with a wonderful dune ,the Dune du Pouldu. Plenty of water sports and children playground here. Goes without saying ,this is a truly family beach, with all amenities even a shopping center right on it . There is surfing and beach shops as well as ice cream parlor and restos.   I have been to many beaches in the world and born 6 km from one, and lived 150 meters from another one, but this one can compare to any.

My background comes all the way from Candelaria and Pajara in Tenerife, Spain where my grandparents came from ;not knowing each other then, to Punta Brava, west of Havana, Cuba. There , my parents born in Cuba met and later on I was born there too. 100% guanche (annexed Tenerife to Spain on April 10 ,1496). I left Cuba as many have to Madrid, Spain where I lived for 4 years. Then, move to Perth Amboy ,New Jersey USA (living there 13 yrs) ; where I completed high school, became a US Citizen, learned to drive a car, and learned English. Afterward, went to the university in Florida, ERAU, and upon graduation decided to moved there to Ormond by the Sea, near Daytona Beach, finally moving North Miami, then Hialeah, then another moved to Silver Lakes division in Miramar, Broward county, Florida; in Florida I lived a total of 18 years. Finally , moved to France in 2003 ,Versailles call me for its royalty, and working in Paris was great. It was time to seek frontiers again and moved to Brech near Auray, Morbihan in Brittany , and later move to not too far Pluvigner. Total so far in France has been 20 years, and counting.
