The Chapelle Saint Michel de la Grêle of Rochefort en Terre !!!

I am taking you to a popular town, one we have visited several times, I do have several posts on it in my blog. In my road warrior mode went out with the boys and Rex for a tour and memories of always as my dear late wife Martine absolutely love it, Therefore, let me tell you more on the Chapelle Saint Michel de la Grêle of Rochefort en Terre !!!. The fairy tale wonderful cosy gorgeous medieval Rochefort en Terre is absoutely sublime to walk its cobblestone streets and wonderful old world architecture, We live one hour from it.  We came straight to the parking out back Place Saint Michel , and did our walking from it, Of course , right there is the Chapelle Saint Michel de la Grêle, right in the woods in the old field of the Fairs and the current Place Saint Michel , dated from the 17C and renovated in the early 20C. Here used to be located the priory of the Grail of Notre Dame de Montjoie. Among the curiosities is a bell dated 1670. An annual pardon is celebrated there every August 15th. La Grêle was a village in the former parish of Pluherlin and today Rochefort-en-Terre: it is to the east of the town and near the stream that serves as the limit of Malansac. this chapel dedicated to the Archangel Saint Michael earned the establishment the name of priory of Saint-Michel de la Grêle.

Then, move to Perth Amboy ,New Jersey USA (living there 13 yrs) ; where I completed high school, became a US Citizen, learned to drive a car, and learned English. Afterward, went to the university in Florida, ERAU, and upon graduation decided to moved there to Ormond by the Sea, near Daytona Beach, finally moving North Miami, then Hialeah, then another moved to Silver Lakes division in Miramar, Broward county, Florida; in Florida I lived a total of 18 years. Finally , moved to France in 2003 ,Versailles call me for its royalty, and working in Paris was great. It was time to seek frontiers again and moved to Brech near Auray, Morbihan in Brittany , and later move to not too far Pluvigner. Total so far in France has been 20 years, and counting.
