The Nota Bene Pizzeria of Nantes !!!

We have come quite often to Nantes, a City that needs to be visited more by all. A wonderful historical city with many monuments to see, many wonderful properties. I was again on my local road warrior mode and as bit not back, decided to give it a refresher to this must to visit City of Nantes, Loire-Atlantique dept 44 of the Pays de la Loire region,in my belle France ; even if old Bretagne! Do read my previous posts on the city as well, For now let me tell you about our lunch stop ! It was about time !  Therefore, my take on our favorite the Nota Bene Pizzeria of Nantes !!! The Nota Bene pizzeria restaurant located at 3 rue Saint Denis in the heart of Nantes , is foremost conviviality with the essential ingredients: attentive service characterizes them as well as the love of sharing whatever the news! . You will have noted: the heart and the delicacy are the pillars of Note Bene. On the kitchen side, it is the Italian accents that take precedence , a cuisine worthy of a real Italian trattoria in Nantes! The sober and chic decoration of the different rooms where the exposed stones rub shoulders with wooded, white and oil blue tones are magnificent and welcomes us in a warm atmosphere.  We parked nearby in the place Saint Pierre facing the cathedral (see posts), This is a repeat we have come here and it brings many sentimental memories of visiting with my dear late wife Martine, memories forever !

We were walking around in our road warrior mode this time on foot ! And well hunger strokes ! We remember fondly the Nota Bene pizzeria restaurant , and decided to rekindle old memorable family moments. This was again , a nice service and food event, We had our Italian Orvieto white wine that was a perfect match ,to go along with Gnocchi with its puttaneca sauce and Vendée ham (me),and mousse au chocolat, Mafaldine alla Carbonara pasta, and primavera pizza ,and gnocchis fresco di pesto e crema di pomodoro confit, and my boys all had affogato cafes, all for 26,10€ per person. Very good !

On a previous stop, we had our Roma pizza, linguini, calzone, as well as the nice Peroni Italian beer and for desserts we have the Amore Mio with almond ice cream, strawberry syrup, Chantilly etc and we had different ones all for 21.80€ per person. That is why we came back !!!

Then, move to Perth Amboy ,New Jersey USA (living there 13 yrs) ; where I completed high school, became a US Citizen, learned to drive a car, and learned English. Afterward, went to the university in Florida, ERAU, and upon graduation decided to moved there to Ormond by the Sea, near Daytona Beach, finally moving North Miami, then Hialeah, then another moved to Silver Lakes division in Miramar, Broward county, Florida; in Florida I lived a total of 18 years. Finally , moved to France in 2003 ,Versailles call me for its royalty, and working in Paris was great. It was time to seek frontiers again and moved to Brech near Auray, Morbihan in Brittany , and later move to not too far Pluvigner. Total so far in France has been 20 years, and counting.
