I am back into my best mode, road warrior! I am looking to find new areas not visited or hardly passing by for a more in depth look, and I am thrill to share it with the world! I came to Bain de Bretagne. The town is  located in the department 35 of Ille-et-Vilaine in my lovely Bretagne region, It is located 40 km from Rennes, and 55 km from Vitré, and  123 km from my house. The Chapelle Notre-Dame du Coudray Chapel: the old chapel having been destroyed by the Huguenots, it was replaced by a new chapel in 1611. According to legend, after a child who fell into the water in this washhouse was miraculously saved, the inhabitants found a statue of the Virgin at its bottom and decided to rebuild it. Having fallen into ruins after the French revolution, the chapel was restored in 1895, then in 1940. Once restored, in 1941, the Chapel was offered to the Holy Virgin for prisoners of WWII.

This Chapelle Notre Dame du Coudray replaces an old chapel from the 15C located near an old manor of the Court of Coudray. It is built in the woods of Coudray and near the ruins of an old medieval castle bearing the same name. The Chapelle Notre-Dame du Coudray is a building from the beginning of the 17C, in the shape of a cross; it still depends on the Court of Coudray, is maintained and frequented by the parishioners of Bain (Bain-de-Bretagne), who came there in solemn processions; there is also an assembly held there for the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin, This chapel was restored in 1895, in 1941 and in 1972. One of the slabs of the transept has a cavity in which the children’s feet are placed to make them walk.

Then, move to Perth Amboy ,New Jersey USA (living there 13 yrs) ; where I completed high school, became a US Citizen, learned to drive a car, and learned English. Afterward, went to the university in Florida, ERAU, and upon graduation decided to moved there to Ormond by the Sea, near Daytona Beach, finally moving North Miami, then Hialeah, then another moved to Silver Lakes division in Miramar, Broward county, Florida; in Florida I lived a total of 18 years. Finally , moved to France in 2003 ,Versailles call me for its royalty, and working in Paris was great. It was time to seek frontiers again and moved to Brech near Auray, Morbihan in Brittany , and later move to not too far Pluvigner. Total so far in France has been 20 years, and counting.
