 I was on my road warrior mode again in my beautiful Morbihan and lovely Bretagne region of my belle France, I have written several post on the town, but once coming for lunch with friends and my sons needed to stop by again, Josselin is worth the detour ! ,and only 45 minutes by car from home ! We came here often back then with the whole family including my dear late wife Martine and dear late Dad Elio, We came back walking the town and waiting for noon for our reservation to go in , In between we did more walking in town see posts, We were back this Spanish/Portuguese restaurant that has gathered lots of good reviews by all, Always a lively talk in Spanish/Portuguese !

For memory ,the resto Le Prieuré de Clisson is at 2, rue Georges-Le-Brierd In a former priory in the heart of the medieval city of Josselin, Javier and Paula will make your taste buds travel. They offer traditional cuisine with Mediterranean flavors with Spanish and Portuguese specialties such as paella and tapas. Great to be back with our loving dog Rex, he loves too and ate !

This time we had a sampler of different tapas all wash down with home made Sangria, I had a plate of fried cook peppers, bull’s tail croquettes, as well as ham croquettes and our favorite patatas bravas plate, I ended with a Muerto de Chocolate or dead by chocolate sublime and finish with a digestive shot of Porto red ! My sons had similar dishes except the peppers and had the pyjama dessert ,flan, vanilla ice cream and a half a peach ! Awesome I had it the last time, All a wonderful time of good cheers, good food and reasonable prices.

There , my parents born in Cuba met and later on I was born there too. 100% guanche (annexed Tenerife to Spain on April 10 ,1496). I left Cuba as many have to Madrid, Spain where I lived for 4 years. Then, move to Perth Amboy ,New Jersey USA (living there 13 yrs) ; where I completed high school, became a US Citizen, learned to drive a car, and learned English. Afterward, went to the university in Florida, ERAU, and upon graduation decided to moved there to Ormond by the Sea, near Daytona Beach, finally moving North Miami, then Hialeah, then another moved to Silver Lakes division in Miramar, Broward county, Florida; in Florida I lived a total of 18 years. Finally , moved to France in 2003 ,Versailles call me for its royalty, and working in Paris was great. It was time to seek frontiers again and moved to Brech near Auray, Morbihan in Brittany , and later move to not too far Pluvigner. Total so far in France has been 20 years, and counting.
