Curiosities of Plouhinec, part II 56 !!

And on my road warrior mode in my beautiful Morbihan came to the old town of Plouhinec and another pleasant trip ! As it is a never ending source of things to see, which will last me a lifetime in my lovely Bretagne. You can see my other posts on Plouhinec ,but let me show you this one on the curiosities of Plouhinec ,part II 56 !! Hope you enjoy the post as I.

The Church of Notre-Dame de Grâce or Saint-Pierre-et-Saint-Paul ,it is an imposing church of néo gothic style where the high silhouette dominates the houses of the village.The church was built from 1870 to 1873. The construction of the current church caused the disappearance around 1869 of the old church of the 12C and 14C, the choir, dates from 1891. The choir contains an altar, a tabernacle, skylights, stalls and woodwork. The decor and furniture is Gothic-inspired.

The Plage de Linés or Linès beach is one of the best beaches of Plouhinec,if not the best me think. It is part of the great Dune site which goes from Gâvres to Quiberon. This was perfect in Summer time.

We came we like and have come back even if lately cannot confirm if close as not the same signs up front last time passed quickly by it, By the foot of the Lorois bridge on the side of the town of Belz on our way to the peninsula ,you find the American’s Snacks, milkshakes, burgers, hot dogs all with an American flag and car plates from several places in the world such as Cuba in a very rustic country decoration. The service always very friendly where everyone even patrons tell you bonjour and au revoir the old fashion way:we love it!  We had plenty and loaded up each time as nostalgia sets in with my family ! Lovely !!!

Then, move to Perth Amboy ,New Jersey USA (living there 13 yrs) ; where I completed high school, became a US Citizen, learned to drive a car, and learned English. Afterward, went to the university in Florida, ERAU, and upon graduation decided to moved there to Ormond by the Sea, near Daytona Beach, finally moving North Miami, then Hialeah, then another moved to Silver Lakes division in Miramar, Broward county, Florida; in Florida I lived a total of 18 years. Finally , moved to France in 2003 ,Versailles call me for its royalty, and working in Paris was great. It was time to seek frontiers again and moved to Brech near Auray, Morbihan in Brittany , and later move to not too far Pluvigner. Total so far in France has been 20 years, and counting.
