The Au Coin du Feu restaurant of Camors !!!

The town of Camors is a small towns near me that passed by zillions of times in my road warrior trip to the north of Brittany, I have written several posts on it in my blog so see them as well, However, let me tell you about something is not in my blog yet and it should be , Therefore, here is my take on the Au Coin du Feu restaurant of Camors !!! Au Coin du Feu, or in Breton E-tal an Tan or in English At the Fireside, is located near my house on the road D768,in the limits of the town of Camors and Pluvigner, mine ! At about 3 km from my house ! My oldest son going in below pic !

Of course, this is in my beautiful Morbihan dept 56 of my lovely Bretagne, and in my belle France, The au Coin du feu is a restaurant where gourmets will be happy to taste their dishes! specialty: meat cooked over a wood fire! The chef Alexandre Millet, in love with his region, revisits traditional Breton and French cuisine, to offer you a more contemporary vision of local cuisine. The quality of the dishes is undeniable, as is the professionalism and sympathy of the team that manages this Garden of Eden. The charming and authentic setting adds to the long list of good reasons to come and discover this restaurant. . Stone walls for winter and tree-lined terrace in summer.

We have been here for lunch and dinner but the reason of the post is that my twin boys had their Christmas dinner with their basketball club of our town there, They had the Korrigans’s menu ! I am surprise not written on the resto before, can’t find it in my blog !!!

A bit more on the town of Camors for reference : The town is surrounded by the towns of Baud, Pluvigner and La Chapelle-Neuve. It is located partly on the Landes de Lanvaux massif of which it constitutes the western end. It is largely covered by two forest massifs, the Camors national forest and the Floranges forest. With 1,622 ha of wood, the town’s afforestation rate is 44%. It is basically divided in 3 administravely with the main City center/downtown we call the bourg, then, the village of Lambel-Camors and the village of Locoal-Camors. Camors is part of the Canton of Pluvigner, of the Auray Quiberon Terre Atlantique community of towns (AQTA) and depends on the district of Lorient. The territory of the town of Camors was born late and is made up of part of the territory of Baud and part of the territory of Pluvigner, It sits right smack on the road D768 that goes south by my town and further into the coast/beaches all the way to Quiberon, and going north by Pontivy to Loudéac and link with the D700 back on D768 to Dinard !

Afterward, went to the university in Florida, ERAU, and upon graduation decided to moved there to Ormond by the Sea, near Daytona Beach, finally moving North Miami, then Hialeah, then another moved to Silver Lakes division in Miramar, Broward county, Florida; in Florida I lived a total of 18 years. Finally , moved to France in 2003 ,Versailles call me for its royalty, and working in Paris was great. It was time to seek frontiers again and moved to Brech near Auray, Morbihan in Brittany , and later move to not too far Pluvigner. Total so far in France has been 20 years, and counting.
