The Chapelle des Paulines located at rue des Ursulines, The Paulines, settled in Tréguier in 1699, visited the sick and ran a charity office. They also took care of the education of poor girls. Originally installed on rue des Perdreries, they built a new convent complex around 1760. During the French revolution the Paulines were expelled. In the 20C, the town founded a higher school for girls there. The chapel has an interesting interior decorations: gallery with dummy organ and trompe l’oeil draperies, arcade separating the nuns’ choir from the nave, and bearing, on the nuns’ choir side, the arms of Pope Pius IX, painted ceiling portraits, stained glass windows from the 19C. Today, the chapel has been rehabilitated into a cultural space. Free entry according to opening hours which are few.

The new music conservatory is in the former convent of the Sisters of Christ , The Congregation of the Daughters of the Cross was established from 1667 in Tréguier in the Maison de Rome, an important building within the site, since it bears witness to the entry of Renaissance modernity into the architecture of Trégor. In the second half of the 19C, two chapels, one dedicated to the Sisters, the other open to the laity. In 1976, the convent took the name of the Sisters of Christ convent. The old convent has been abandoned since the departure of the Sisters in 2008.

The Théâtre de l’Arche theater was destroyed in 1892, what was then the chapel of the minor seminary was rebuilt 2 years later on the neo-Byzantine model of Montmartre. Subsequently, it will experience several mutations. Deconsecrated after the passing of the law of separation of Church and State in 1905, it will successively serve as a municipal granary, technical workshops and a sports hall. In June 1991, at the initiative of the Regional Council of Brittany, renovation work began and the Théâtre de l’Arche was inaugurated on September 28, 1992 by the Orchester de Bretagne.
