The Le Vivier Restaurant of Quiberon !!!

We headed down the Presqu’ïle de Quiberon to the Côte Sauvage and our favorite spot to eat facing the wild Atlantic Ocean ! I have several posts on Quiberon of course, my favorite spot in all of Brittany ! Oh did I need to tell you this is in my beautiful Morbihan, lovely Bretagne, and belle France ! This is a sublime spot visited by all, locals and especially Europeans at Summer’s season, I seldom write a post on a restaurant but this one is deservingly so ,a must to visit while in the area, Let me tell you about The Le Vivier restaurant of Quiberon, !!! Hope you enjoy it as I.

All along the peninsula of Quiberon ,(see post) you will find beaches on both sides bay and ocean, wonderful beaches nice sizes to small creeks very private romantic and wild. The cliffs along the Côte Sauvage (see posts) or wild coast are impressive and nice, beautiful natural front holding on to the master sea of the Atlantic ocean. Hotels, vacation homes, restos;bars are here to please and choose, tourism of course is big and many have seasonal opening times. We just ride and stop in every creek , every turn of the wild coast and marvel of our majestic ocean ,wild and powerful in front of us, it is heavens on earth and we are lucky to be very close to it.

On our road warrior ways sometimes we get hungry and why not stop by places of local renown around my neck of the woods, We had our lunch/dinner meals at Le Vivier right amongst the cliffs in the Côte Sauvage. This is a full seafood restaurant open from February to November right off the cliffs of the wild coast. Terrace is gorgeous natural and we love it. We had what the ocean has best oysters and mussels with chips and plenty of brut cider Brocéliande; two bottles to boot !!! delicious. We alternate the offering but we need to have mussels for my boys and oysters for me , all reasonable and good. The views of course are tops and well recommended to all.

There , my parents born in Cuba met and later on I was born there too. 100% guanche (annexed Tenerife to Spain on April 10 ,1496). I left Cuba as many have to Madrid, Spain where I lived for 4 years. Then, move to Perth Amboy ,New Jersey USA (living there 13 yrs) ; where I completed high school, became a US Citizen, learned to drive a car, and learned English. Afterward, went to the university in Florida, ERAU, and upon graduation decided to moved there to Ormond by the Sea, near Daytona Beach, finally moving North Miami, then Hialeah, then another moved to Silver Lakes division in Miramar, Broward county, Florida; in Florida I lived a total of 18 years. Finally , moved to France in 2003 ,Versailles call me for its royalty, and working in Paris was great. It was time to seek frontiers again and moved to Brech near Auray, Morbihan in Brittany , and later move to not too far Pluvigner. Total so far in France has been 20 years, and counting.
