The Saint-Méen Church was built in 1875 on the remains of the former Bellevue manor, but for lack of money, part of the choir, the aisles and the bell tower are not carried out at the end of the work in 1886. A fire destroys the roof in 1906. completes the church in 1931-32, respecting the plans of 1875, adds to the tower of the bell tower, a lantern of the dead. From the upper platform of the new church, there is an extensive panorama over the bay of Mont-Saint-Michel, Granville and around forty bell towers.

On February 22, 1931, the first stone of the tower was blessed and in 1932, it rose 34 meters above the ground. Two vestibules placed on each side complete the facade. But due to lack of money, the spire which was to crown the tower will never see the light of day. The bells will be installed in 1932 in their new home. In 2000, a new bell called “Jeanne Jugan” joined the bell tower.  The previous church very quickly becoming too cramped, the church was replaced in 1875 by the current Saint-Méen Church , The old church, for its part, hosts a cinema room and a museum dedicated to popular arts and traditions.
