I like to use some pictures found in my vault that should be in my blog to tell you more of the city. Do see my other posts on Dinard in my blog. Therefore, let me show you the curiosities of Dinard, part III !!!! Hope you enjoy the post as I.
The rue Coppinger has become a dead end street on the opposite way it takes you to the pointe du Moulinet, Here you have the house or Maison dite Château des Deux Rives, at 4 rue Coppinger, The villa is at the narrowest point of the peninsula and close to the end of the boulevard near the swimming pool. This villa was modified in the early 20C to also incorporate medieval elements, and the roof with two further floors of rooms was added in the 1920s. It was initially done by the Lebanese Count Joseph Rochaïd Dahdah in August 1873, Later his three sons, Alphonse, Paul and Joseph, married into the French aristocracy and continued, after the death of their father in 1889, to play an important role in worldly life and sports of Dinard.

By 22 Bd de la Mer there is a house with an old lighthouse that stayed in their property, at the corner of a property on the immediate edge of the Port-Riou park, stands a pretty stone tower, which has always intrigued passers-by. The history of this tower dates back to the end of the 19C. Between 1879 and 1882, a whole group of buildings and gardens were built in this place, starting with a house, which was called Château Port-Riou, with its pleasure garden, its outbuildings, its vegetable garden, and finally a well, and a water tower, the pump of which will use wind energy. The mill lost its function, and its wind turbine gave way to a television antenna.
