The foodie in Trier !!!

A simple memorable new world spot we love anywhere. We have come to Trier several times over the years, becoming our favorite city in Germany. I am updating this post for the memories ‘s sake on text , links, and pictures, Hope you enjoy the post that brings many happy moments for my family, and hopefully ,yours too.  We have come back here since arriving in France, first from Versailles and now from Pluvigner in the Morbihan breton! Pizza Hut, was our favorite pizza chain in Florida USA , where my boys were born, and as said followed it here in Europe. Passing by it we saw the Pizza Hut there and now each time we make an effort to eat there while in town. See my other posts on Pizza Hut in other countries,such as Luxembourg Ville !! The Pizza Hut  in Trier is located at Brotstrasse 40. I have been confirm this location has closed sadly, here for the memories of always. This is city center district, full of shops and restos/bars and very close to the quant square of Johann Philipps StraBe. Wonderful area for walks and sightseeing or window shopping ! We made a stop again at Pizza Hut and I must say that I was surprised by the quality of the welcome and the service. The meal was served quickly and warm. We see that the place is well maintained. Staff very pleasant and who speaks French!. Prices are for everyone ! We will be back, eventually ! Wonderful area for walks and sightseeing or window shopping ! My boys love it and so did we, memories forever coming with my dear late wife Martine !

We had our lunch at restaurant Fornelli at Jakobstr 34 city center Trier. The real thing witnh 17,90€ per person and pizzas from romana , piedmonte,lombardia, and spa Bolognese all with lots of cold beers trierer lowenbrau and paid bottle water panna. The prices were very fair, the waiters friendly; I have nothing to complain about.

The restaurant Fornelli has been in the historic main market in the heart of Trier since 1983! It It will spoil you in a cozy atmosphere with classic Italian cuisine from all regions of Italy.

There you go folks, another good one for the whole family and a change of pace for us when not wanting to eat the local food, and rely back on our old never fail favorites. Many memories here with the family not to be forgotten, you too can have them coming to Pizza Hut Trier, Enjoy bon appétit !!

My background comes all the way from Candelaria and Pajara in Tenerife, Spain where my grandparents came from ;not knowing each other then, to Punta Brava, west of Havana, Cuba. There , my parents born in Cuba met and later on I was born there too. 100% guanche (annexed Tenerife to Spain on April 10 ,1496). I left Cuba as many have to Madrid, Spain where I lived for 4 years. Then, move to Perth Amboy ,New Jersey USA (living there 13 yrs) ; where I completed high school, became a US Citizen, learned to drive a car, and learned English. Afterward, went to the university in Florida, ERAU, and upon graduation decided to moved there to Ormond by the Sea, near Daytona Beach, finally moving North Miami, then Hialeah, then another moved to Silver Lakes division in Miramar, Broward county, Florida; in Florida I lived a total of 18 years. Finally , moved to France in 2003 ,Versailles call me for its royalty, and working in Paris was great. It was time to seek frontiers again and moved to Brech near Auray, Morbihan in Brittany , and later move to not too far Pluvigner. Total so far in France has been 20 years, and counting. Moving average a home every 5.5 years hopefully this will be my last. Cheers All rights reserved.
