And indeed my boys convince me to be back, again. After so many trips lost count to the Orlando property and 6x times in Disneyland Paris. A bit short on personnel , two dear women and a great men missing, but we were back along with our dog Rex , and my 3 boys !!! Disneyland is always magical once in it and with family even better! At Autopia ,drivers, rev your engines! We come here each time, my boys love it, So I follow !

With Autopia you take the wheel of a futuristic car, reminiscent of the models dreamed up by inventors in the 1950s, and accelerate along a winding, scenic road. Don’t forget to buckle up before conquering the road or maneuvering smoothly in this legendary automobile. Visitors walk through the city of Solaria, represented by a metal structure simulating skyscrapers.

Equipped with a real accelerator and steering wheel, your car will climb and descend hills with ease and navigate tight corners in a truly realistic scenario. And to brake? Simply release the accelerator pedal to slow down. A safety device in the form of a guide rail is located under the vehicle. In addition, the car is equipped with front and rear bumpers. The team of mechanics is also available to lend a hand.

Children at least 1.32 meters tall (about 4,33 feet) can wear seatbelts and drive their own car. Visitors at least 81 cm tall (about 2,66 feet) can also drive, provided they are accompanied by someone at least 1.32 meters tall.

It first opened as Tomorrowland Autopia on July 17, 1955 in the northern part of the land, where it remains today. However, other versions opened within the park: Junior Autopia in Fantasyland, Midget Autopia in Fantasyland, Fantasyland Autopia ,also temporarily called Rescue Rangers Raceway, All of these have since closed, and their spaces have sometimes been repurposed to expand the only remaining Autopia. The new attraction is simply called Autopia, sometimes referred to as “Autopia, presented by Chevron”.Opening: April 12, 1992 in Paris with the park,

There you go folks, another dandy in my belle France. This park beyond even my expectations is the No 1 visited park in France and Europe!! We saw the world here and its just beginning to kick out!  Discoveryland is a must to visit ,again especially if with young children . We will be back, eventually !! There , my parents born in Cuba met and later on I was born there too. 100% guanche (annexed Tenerife to Spain on April 10 ,1496). I left Cuba as many have to Madrid, Spain where I lived for 4 years. Then, move to Perth Amboy ,New Jersey USA (living there 13 yrs) ; where I completed high school, became a US Citizen, learned to drive a car, and learned English. Afterward, went to the university in Florida, ERAU, and upon graduation decided to moved there to Ormond by the Sea, near Daytona Beach, finally moving North Miami, then Hialeah, then another moved to Silver Lakes division in Miramar, Broward county, Florida; in Florida I lived a total of 18 years. Finally , moved to France in 2003 ,Versailles call me for its royalty, and working in Paris was great. It was time to seek frontiers again and moved to Brech near Auray, Morbihan in Brittany , and later move to not too far Pluvigner. Total so far in France has been 20 years, and counting.
