The Sister’s Café of Versailles !!!

I am with the restaurant nostalgia of my dear Versailles , The memories flashing as always when I write about my favorite City of my belle France, my former home, where I lived for 9+ years , and it’s time to tell you a bit more about one of our favorite hangouts for eating out in town. Therefore, here is my take on the Sister’s Café of Versailles !!! Hope you enjoy them as I.

One dear restaurant that had mentioned briefly but found a couple pictures of different years to tell you more about the Sister’s Cafe at 15 rue des Réservoirs. An American in Versailles. hamburgers, big juicy like back in the old home all made to order, plus big salads another great lunch suggestions. Right by the street on the right side of the palace looking at it,can’t missed it right past the théatre Montansier (see post) same sidewalk. Indeed good reviews all over, we just ate there ,and always good, My family below pic. below

The atmosphere and the decoration will make you cross the Atlantic to find yourself in a typical bar from the 1950s.A small distance from the palace, this is a small restaurant with American influence but nothing to do with fast food! The preparation is particularly well neat and the products are of quality. American restaurant, all in length, the kitchen is behind the bar: you will therefore attend the preparation of your burger live! The atmosphere is young and dynamic. Large benches and bistro tables. Very colorful. Brunch on weekends. Mentioned in the Le Petit Futé ,Le Routard , and Hotels et Restos de France.

My background comes all the way from Candelaria and Pajara in Tenerife, Spain where my grandparents came from ;not knowing each other then, to Punta Brava, west of Havana, Cuba. There , my parents born in Cuba met and later on I was born there too. 100% guanche (annexed Tenerife to Spain on April 10 ,1496). I left Cuba as many have to Madrid, Spain where I lived for 4 years. Then, move to Perth Amboy ,New Jersey USA (living there 13 yrs) ; where I completed high school, became a US Citizen, learned to drive a car, and learned English. Afterward, went to the university in Florida, ERAU, and upon graduation decided to moved there to Ormond by the Sea, near Daytona Beach, finally moving North Miami, then Hialeah, then another moved to Silver Lakes division in Miramar, Broward county, Florida; in Florida I lived a total of 18 years. Finally , moved to France in 2003 ,Versailles call me for its royalty, and working in Paris was great. It was time to seek frontiers again and moved to Brech near Auray, Morbihan in Brittany , and later move to not too far Pluvigner. Total so far in France has been 20 years, and counting. Moving average a home every 5.5 years hopefully this will be my last. Cheers All rights reserved.
