Diekirch is a city in Luxembourg and the chief town of the canton with the same name. Located between the Lux City, Ösling and Little Switzerland areas , and on the left bank bank of the Sûre river. Diekirch is best known for his old church and for the brewery bearing the same name. However, it has the peculiar notoraity of its donkeys ! This animal is everywhere, recalling the essentially agricultural past of the region, when the donkey was alone capable of helping the work of the fields on the steep hills surrounding the city, then participating in the wealth of the City, The city is crossed by national roads N7, N14 and N27.
