The Grand Trianon of Versailles, part III !!!

In my dear gorgeous Versailles ; there are many places other than the castle. The city needs to be seen more, my kind of town, actually did lived there for 9+ glorious years! Very nice family memories. I found me older paper pictures that again should be in my blog, Therefore, here is my take again on the Grand Trianon of Versailles, part III !!! The péristyle  of the Grand Trianon is the colonnaded gallery connecting the right wing and the left wing , but also the courtyard to the gardens. It consists of open arcades on the courtyard and a colonnade on the garden. The nickname Trianon de marble of the Grand Trianon is due in particular to this peristyle whose pilasters are made of this rock=marbre.

The gallery of Cotelle, located in the north wing, features 11 windows and 5 windows are connected to the Garden lounge. It takes its name from the painter Jean Cotelle the young, portraitist and miniaturist of king Louis XIV who realizes 21 out of 24 paintings that are attached to it Salon of Jardins. Shown the chandelier on this post.

Inside by the middle wing, you will find the Boudoir de l’Emperatrice Marie-Louise. In 1805 the emperor has done it for his mother but never use it, and in turn was given to his new wife in 1810. Marie Louise is the daughter of the niece of Marie Antoinette! We continue our walk inside to see the bed orlit de la chambre de l’imperatrice, done in 1809, at the south wing. The bed was ordered b Napoleon Ier before been use by Louis XVIII in 1824.

The salon de famille de Louis-Philippe,or the Louis-Philippe family room is formed from the anteroom of the Games and the Sleep Chamber, transformed under the Empire into salons of officers and princes. It will be brought together by Louis-Philippe, who will intend her to meetings of the royal family and her brand guests. The furniture, which combines Empire period seats, stretched by silks, with other furniture imitating the Chinese decor of black and gold lacquer,

The Salon Rond or round room is the vestibule that gave access to the first apartment that Louis XIV occupied only three years, from 1688 to 1691. Its decor of Corinthian columns as well as his marble paving and the paintings that adorn it date from this period. To the right of the fireplace, a carpentry drum conceals the staircase borrowed by the musicians to access the gallery which gave in the next room, where the king’s supper took place.

Then, move to Perth Amboy ,New Jersey USA (living there 13 yrs) ; where I completed high school, became a US Citizen, learned to drive a car, and learned English. Afterward, went to the university in Florida, ERAU, and upon graduation decided to moved there to Ormond by the Sea, near Daytona Beach, finally moving North Miami, then Hialeah, then another moved to Silver Lakes division in Miramar, Broward county, Florida; in Florida I lived a total of 18 years. Finally , moved to France in 2003 ,Versailles call me for its royalty, and working in Paris was great. It was time to seek frontiers again and moved to Brech near Auray, Morbihan in Brittany , and later move to not too far Pluvigner. Total so far in France has been 20 years, and counting.
