In my gustative rounds of my belle France and the road warrior trails going between France and Spain and vice versa I have encounter several nice moments. Places of good food, drink and good cheers that have become memorable with the family in tow. We have passed by Oloron Sainte Marie many times most of them were just passing thru, with time we became curious of the town and went in. I have several posts on it in my blog. However, today, I like to tell of something most love, and we are dear fans, chocolates! We enjoy those Lindt’s tablets anywhere. We came upon a brochure telling us there is a Lindt chocolates outlet store in town, and manufacturing plant!!! So obviously we came for it. Therefore, here is our experience in the Lindt chocolates in Oloron Sainte Marie !!! Hope you enjoy it as I

The City of Oloron-Sainte-Marie is situated in the department of Pyrénées-Atlantiques no 64, in the region of Nouvelle-Aquitaine of my belle France. Located in contact with the Aquitaine basin and the Pyrenees, 50 km from Spain by the national road N134, 100 km from the Atlantic Ocean by the departmental roads D936 and D28 linking Oloron to Peyrehorade, and the confluence of two gaves (rivers), the Aspe and Ossau , which meet to form the Gave d’Oloron. It is the capital of the Pays d’Oloron, the city lies at the birth of  four valleys such as  the valleys of Aspe, of Ossau and the Barétous as well as the Soule.

The Lindt story here tell us that Lindt & Sprüngli AG ,a chocolate manufacturer headquartered in Kilchberg, canton of Zurich, Switzerland. Today, the group has its own production sites in Switzerland, Germany, France, Italy, the United States and Austria. The company Sprüngli was founded in 1845 in Zurich by the confectioner David Sprüngli-Schwarz. In 1899, the company acquired the chocolate factory of the famous Rudolf Lindt in Bern. The brand, which then becomes Lindt and Sprüngli, has been gaining momentum ever since.

There , my parents born in Cuba met and later on I was born there too. 100% guanche (annexed Tenerife to Spain on April 10 ,1496). I left Cuba as many have to Madrid, Spain where I lived for 4 years. Then, move to Perth Amboy ,New Jersey USA (living there 13 yrs) ; where I completed high school, became a US Citizen, learned to drive a car, and learned English. Afterward, went to the university in Florida, ERAU, and upon graduation decided to moved there to Ormond by the Sea, near Daytona Beach, finally moving North Miami, then Hialeah, then another moved to Silver Lakes division in Miramar, Broward county, Florida; in Florida I lived a total of 18 years. Finally , moved to France in 2003 ,Versailles call me for its royalty, and working in Paris was great. It was time to seek frontiers again and moved to Brech near Auray, Morbihan in Brittany , and later move to not too far Pluvigner. Total so far in France has been 20 years, and counting.
