And indeed my boys convince me to be back. After so many trips to Walt Disney and Disneyland Paris, we were back. It was a special trip as the boys wanted to celebrate the birthday of my twin sons, We were back sadly this time just my 3 boys , myself and our dog Rex, we have lost 3, This time it seems we had more time and saw more attractions, it was magical indeed ! As their schedule goes we went all over and a lot more this time. However, getting around is nice and we love it. Therefore, let me tell you about cars, trains, buses at Disneyland Paris, Hope you enjoy it as we !!!

Disneyland Paris is only 32 km from Paris, indeed unless I told you, it is in my dear Seine et Marne dept 77 with officially at the Bd de Parc, town of Coupvray, and the metro area of Val d’Europe. Get off the train and enter directly into the Disney Parks: they are only a 2-minute walk from Marne-la-Vallée/Chessy station. The station is accessible by most high-speed lines speed from the main stations in France. From Paris-Gare de Lyon, Disneyland Paris is approximately 45 minutes away by RER line A trains. The easiest connection is at the RER A station – Nation to Marne-la -Vallée/Chessy.

However, what we love and do each time is the railroad around the Disneyland park, nice quant we love it. Here is finally ,more on it!

Departing from Main Street Station , to Discoveryland station, and Frontierland Depot, embark on a gentle ride around Disneyland Park and take in the view as you trundle along the Disneyland Railroad. This gleaming steam train is ideal for seeing the sights and attractions of Disneyland Park, All passengers disembark at Main Street Station! A noted train enthusiast, Walt Disney built his very first railroad in his backyard. The Carolwood Pacific Railroad, a 1/8-scale train, debuted in 1950 and featured a custom-built, steam powered locomotive that encircled his property. Delighted with his miniature backyard railroad, Walt decided to share his love of trains with the whole world.

There are 4 meticulously restored, working narrow-gauge trains you can ride. Each includes 5 passenger cars and has been named after an American legend. William F. Cody : Buffalo Bill’s real name. The cars are named after Western cities: Silverton, Durango, Denver, Wichita and Cheyenne. C.K. Holliday : The man who built the Santa Fe railway, commonly seen as a vacation train. The cars are named after popular resorts: Coney Island, Atlantic City, Chesapeake, Long Island and Niagara Falls. George Washington : The first President of the United States. The train’s colours are blue, white and red. The cars are named after places famously associated with Washington: Mt. Vernon, Boston, Philadelphia, Yorktown and Valley Forge. Eureka : The word Californian miners yelled when they discovered gold during the gold rush. The cars are named after Californian cities: San Francisco, Los Angeles, Monterey, San Diego and Sacramento.
