The City of Meaux is less than 50 km from Paris, and about 25 minutes from Paris-Est station by train or less than an hour by car, It is, also, 21 km ,and about 20 minutes from Disneyland Paris by the A4 Autoroute/highway by car as taken many times. And I was back, in my always Meaux !!! Yes !!!

Meaux

This time went paying tolls on the usual D768 to connect with the N24 and around Rennes on the beltway N136,then N157 until tolls at the A81 past Laval, then A11 Le Mans to the A10 dir Paris however, here took my experiences out of the gps and took the Francilienne N104 further out from Paris as this City has become a driver’s dump due to policies of the local lords, took briefly the A5b to connect to the A4 dir Metz/Nancy until the exit to Meaux on the A140 which then becomes the D360 to Meaux centre and our parking at bd Jean Rose before passing briefly by the Hôtel de Ville of Meaux, Wonderful route in a bit over 5 hours leaving home early to avoid rush hour at arrival, My fav Parking Indigo Jean Rose 1 at Boulevard Jean Rose, and Rue Tronchet, by the ramparts, The parking is free from Monday to Saturday from 12h. to 14h. and from 19h to 9h. This site is free every Sunday ! Nice and easy does it!

On the way back, we had more time and seen all, we took the free route or no tolls, We took off from our final destination Disneyland Paris (see posts later), and got on the A4 towards Paris but got off again at the N104 Francilienne road dir Lieusaint but follow signs for Bordeaux/Nantes and then Versailles/Rouen connecting north with the road N118 passing the town of Orsay ,you connect briefly with the A86 road before coming into our wonderful N12 dir Dreux passing memorable towns such as Vélizy-Villacoublay , Versailles, Elancourt, Saint Quentin en Yvelines ,Houdan, Dreux, Nonancourt, Alençon, Mayenne, Fougéres, and landing on the A84 road towards Rennes, then N24 towards Lorient and home on the D724 by Camors, D768 by Baud and finally home in about 6 hrs plus, nice ride as always,

The works, usual routing networks tells you, can access Meaux on the roads by the A4 Paris/Metz-Nancy , A1 Paris/Lille, A5 Paris/Dijon, A104 (Francilienne) ,et A86 (rocade autour de Paris, Via the A4 autoroute/highway, you can go to Meaux from Paris by the A4 towards Metz-Nancy. It will take you out of Paris from the south. After 50 km of highway, exit the A4 towards the A140 towards Nanteuil-Meaux then towards Meaux-Centre becoming the road D360. Meaux will welcome you with an impressive view of its Saint Etienne Cathedral (St Stephens), You can get to Meaux from Reims by the A4 autoroute/highway towards Paris. After 97 km of highway, exit the A4 towards the A140 towards Meaux-Centre, becoming the road D360. When you arrive in Meaux, enjoy the panorama of the Saint-Étienne Cathedral. And Via the A1 and the A104: You can also take the A1 towards Lille-Charles de Gaulle Airport if you want to exit Paris from the north. You will then leave the A1 for the A104 towards Soissons-Marne la Vallée then you will take exit 6b towards Meaux.
