Curiosities of Bucharest , part VII !!

So bringing you back to a city I have visited several times and always a nice welcome. Many souvenirs and good friends over the years. Always looking forward to be back. I ,again, found me some older pictures not yet in my blog and they should, Therefore, let me tell you a bit more on the curiosities of Bucharest , part VII , Hope you enjoy the post as I,

One of my hotels of memories here was the Crown Plaza Hotel, which is part of the, also, memorable dear Intercontinental Hotels Group, I stayed couple times for one night but love the buffet. The rooms are big and well stocked. You start the day with a rich American buffet breakfast. Overlooking the garden and featuring a summer terrace, the Pine Restaurant serves international cuisine made from fresh local produce. The Crown Café-Bar (now call Brasserie ) is the ideal place to enjoy a drink during a relaxed meeting or a business session. Guests can relax at the ANA Spa, which is equipped with a swimming pool, gym, steam room, dry sauna, steam sauna and frigidarium. The official Crowne Plaza Bucharest also offers a concierge service and on-site parking.  The official Crown Plaza Hotel : https://www.ihg.com/crowneplaza/hotels/gb/en/bucharest/buhrm/hoteldetail

Nearby, walking distance you have the Casa Doina Restaurant , since 2003, located next to the other hotel (see post) , The restaurant is one of Bucharest’s historical edifices which impresses by its one-of-a-kind architecture signed by maestro Ion Mincu, graduated from the National School of Fine Arts in Paris. The restaurant is an authentic Romanian construction from the 19C, fully renovated and restored, where fine cuisine, a spectacular ambiance and high quality services come together to create the perfect invitation even for the most fastidious of clients. And we were, coming from all angles but always nicely friendly served, great memories here. The official Casa Doina restaurant : https://www.casadoina.ro/?lang=EN

Another experience and a personal picture for the memories of always , This at the La Placinte Moldavian cuisine restaurant.  Very nicely decorated Inside and nice friendly service.  I went to the Bd. Ion Mihalache, NR.96-98 La Placinte is a chain of restaurants from the neighboring Republic of Moldova that has become quickly popular in Romania . As soon as you enter this restaurant, situated in an upscale Bucharest neighborhood, you will notice the cozy atmosphere and helpful waiters, always with a smile on their face. If you like Romanian folk music and home-made food, you might become one of their regular clients. The official La Placinte resto : https://laplacinte.ro/en/pages/restaurante/2

I had my usual visits around and to the Romexpo exhibition center. One of my many target spots in the City on business trips, The largest exhibition center in Romania offers you the opportunity to inform and test the products and services you are interested in, during fairs and exhibitions, .Access to the Romexpo premises can be done by Gates A, B, C – from the Exhibition Boulevard (mine); D-Gate – from the Park Street; and the E – Gate, from Poligrafiei Street. It was also, almost across the street from my branch office in Bucharest !! The official Romexpo exhibition center : https://www.romexpo.ro/en/
